Two very powerful Beings.

Steel-John Henry Iron has no superhuman abilities. However, he wears a suit of power armor which grants him flight, super strength and endurances. Steel modified his suit many times through his career. The initial "Man of Steel" design was armed with a wrist-mounted rivet gun, and the sledgehammer (such as used by his namesake John Henry) that was ubiquitous for most of his designs. The original design featured a metal version of Superman's "S" insignia in tribute to the (temporarily) deceased hero, which he removed after the return of the "real" Man of Steel. A later design incorporated a similar, but different "S" symbol (this time for "Steel"wink.

Absorbing Man-Creel has the power to absorb the physical properties of anything he touches. For example, if Creel were to touch and hold a piece of titanium steel, the tissues of his body would take on the appearance and properties of titanium. Creel also retains his intellect and capacity for speech reguardless of the material he absorbes. The more dense, or durable, the material he absorbs, the stronger Creel is; were Creel to touch a high grade steel structure his strength would be roughly equal to that of the Thing. Creel also has the ability to absorb the same level of physical strength as the character he is touching. This power requires Creel's deliberate concentration, although he has a tendency to accidentally absorb materials he did not intend to. Creel's body can also absorb the properties of great amounts of energy in the same fashion it absorbs the properties of solid materials. Creel has proven able to absorb the mystical energies of Thor's enchanted Uru hammer on multiple occassions.

The ball and chain that he carries is also mystically enchanted, and this power is extended to it. It is essentially an extension of his own body mass at this point. If the Absorbing Man's body is shattered, he has the ability to completely reconstitute his bodily mass without injury to himself, though it may take a great deal of time to do

Creel. Galactus sets him down on a planet, tells him to absorb the life energies, then Big G pops him like a vitamin pill.

Creel boosted with the powercosmic? Holy shit.

Nah, cuz big G would need him more than once, BUT, Creel could still absorb all the planet's lifeforce and then unload it into Galactus.

That's a really killer idea.

Although I like Steel way more than Absorbing man, Creel would be a much better choice for Galactus. No pesky morals to erase, and a magical absorbing power to start with.

creel cuz, well he's a crimmal, and has killed dozens of innocents wheter, directly or as a result of prperty damage, therefore no conscinece. i doubt that steel would willingly sacrifice planets without batting an eye.. but it would be cool to see steel as a herald tho, i imagine that glactus would do a killer melding of flesh and metal brimming with cosmic energies, that he can revert from at will

Steel would be a much better herald... because he's not a dumbass like Creel

Galactus ties Creel to cosmic fishing line, flycasts him out to a planet; Creel absorbs the life energies, Galactus reels him in, squeezes him like an orange into his mouth, then flycasts him out to the next planet.

ah, the good life...
