The machines have sent The Terminator back through time to waste Deathstroke for stealing their name.... before they...... ever......existed...... confused

hmmm.... time travel is annoying..... can Deathstroke escape termination?

EDIT: oh yeah... no prep for Deathstroke (as he doesn't know he's been targetted)... and no futuristic weaponry for the Terminator (as they can't carry that stuff through time).... so he just does what he did in the first film, rob a gun store

Based on coolness : Arnie

Based on feats : the other one.

does Deathstroke have the capability to destroy a Terminator though?... with no prep

Maybe not destroy it, but I can see him stopping it. It's not very clear how durable a Terminator really is.

TheKahn
if Michael Biehn (Kyle Reese) & Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor) can beat him, then Deathstroke has a cakewalk

TheKahn
DS might take a little longer, but he'd still get it done

Darth Martin
DS promethium sword should make quick work of a T-800 assuming it doesn't hav any guns.

Soljer
Promethium sword, or power staff ends this fight fast.

And the terminator WOULD have guns - the original poster said he'd just rob a gun store or some such.

Just that he wouldn't have futuristic weaponry.
