Mordum
So umm yeah who wins this? I dont know much about the infinites so if anyone has any info please post.

GalacticStorm
Infinites without a doubt. Just look how they manhandled Eternity.

DarkCrawler
MORE cosmic entities I haven't heard of? And they bested Eternity? Well...who doesn't?

Alright...who the hell are Infinites?

It was in some Avengers story arc about 4 years ago i think. If you google for avengers story arcs you'll prob be able to find a summary. Or when im tidying up my room i'll post scans sometime over the next week wink

armandovalles
The Infinite's hand was as big as Eternity. And that was just ONE Infinite who bested Eternity. If this is the whole race of them versus the whole race of the Celestials the Infinites win easily. 1 Infinity could probly take out most of the Celestials by himself.

Xplosive
Infinite, only LT and Phoenix are beyond them.

Mainstream
LT rocks!!

LT SUCKS!

and as far as they infinites go we dont know much about them, in one place a single hand of theirs dwarfed eternity on the other hand one had to sacrifice him/herself just to give life back to a single GALAXY, which doesnt make sense at all.

guy222
Should see Living Tribunal soon

Scathan the Approver FTW

Utrigita
Infinites

vlaaad12345
Scathan says no.

Utrigita
So everytime we are taking the Celestials as a Race we are going to count Scathan with them, A Celestial that have only showed himself once???

celestialdemon
The Infinites win.

King Kandy
If Scathan counts: Celestials.

If he doesn't: Infinites.

Sorry not this time Guy. Infinites win. They bullied the Celestials creator. stick out tongue

guy222
Infinites beating Scathan no

Eternity is portrayed as a jobber, but he has recreated Earth

In regards to LT, lets wait and see smile

Ut, my friend forever. Celestials as in plural. Over billions of them; Scathan the Approver is a Celestial

Scathan the Approver FTW

Mr Master
......................................................................................

A hand of an Infinite dragging a Galaxy like if it was Christmas tree lights:

http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/8646/inf1sv0.th.jpg

"The Infinite will just haul the entire Galaxy away"

......................................................................................

One Infinite made a 4 Billion Light Year Long Wall of Galaxies:

http://img91.imageshack.us/img91/5637/inf2bv2.th.jpg

"and the Infinites plan to add our Milky Way to that wall"

......................................................................................

616 Eternity,
attempts to wrestle with one of the hands of the Infinites:

http://img118.imageshack.us/img118/2209/etvsifop0.th.jpg

......................................................................................

Eternity continues to struggle with the hand in vain,
Eternity begins to enlarge himself to break the grasp of the Infinite:

http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/3193/etvsif2uq3.th.jpg

......................................................................................

Instead, The Infinite teleports Eternity into the dimension of manisfestation:

http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/812/etvsif3ft7.th.jpg

"It's where Cosmic types can see, and be seen more easily."

......................................................................................

http://img83.imageshack.us/img83/3073/etvsif4oy8.th.jpg

Infintie: "Who are you to oppose the will of the Infinites?"

Eternity: "Eternity, the living embodiment of the Universe"

Mr Master
......................................................................................

This right here again,
solidifes that the 616 Reality is truly the foundation of the Marvel Universe:

http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/3237/etvsif5hv9.th.jpg

"We are greater than any single Reality,
we are rearranging the Galaxies -- (of the 616 Universe) smile
to improve the balance of the Multi-verse beyond"

......................................................................................

Eternity allows each hero to speak to the Infinites through him,
on behalf of those that live in the Universe:

http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/4769/etvsif6xl4.th.jpg

Infinite: "Do you not see that we are superior to you ALL"

......................................................................................

As usual,
"Gods" are impressed and fascinated by how precious
and interesting Mortals are:

http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/6107/etvsif7qs6.th.jpg

They call it, "Magnificent Chaos"

......................................................................................

Then Thor, emboldened by Eternity, let's out an empty bravado:

http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/4840/etvsif8fw8.th.jpg

"Thor is it ... the one that considers himself a God"

......................................................................................

http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/695/etvsif9ty1.th.jpg

"Do not make demands of the Infinites, little one,
We do what we must"

......................................................................................

Imo, the Infinites may be = to or above the Multiverse,
I initially had them below the totality of Eternity,
but after I discovered that 616 Eternity,
is supposed to posses the power of the infinite Prime Multiverse,
I now have to investigate this further,
then again,
it could be that Stern (writer) did not adhere to that. (meh, it happens)

I mean he did have an Infinite need to die
just to re-create all the Planets they had destroyed across the Universe.

Eternity was in the process of increasing energy as we can see on panel btw,
but the Infinite bfr'd his ass before he could continue,
not sayin this would've made a difference, but I'm just sayin.

The Marvunapp bio states,
the Infinites may be Megaversal or even Omniversal. wow

Canadian internet gangsta?

Mr Master
Got some more info:

It appears the Infinites are from beyond the Multiverse,
so they operate on a atleast Trans-Multiversal level.

Also,
the Infinite's power definitely dwarfs that of Eternity.

And,
the bio recognizes that the Infinites actually may be
"superior to any other creature in any Reality"

Would you put them above the IG?

Not imo.

The performance of only 4 Gems or 2 Gems,
places the complete IG above and beyond most of Marvel.

Besides, Thanos also defeated 616 Eternity easily.
The IG also replaced the essence of Eternity with a thought.
The IG also performed outside the prime Multiverse,
proving it's Trans-Multiversal influence.

Lastly, the LT himself stated,
that the IG would definitely take out Rune's Multiverse,
and perhaps the Prime Multiverse aswell.
The Soul Gem was literally aiming for this goal trying to control Rune,
it wanted to first control Rune's Multiverse, and then from there,
move onto the Prime Multiverse.

Thanos also stated that he was supreme in This (616) and ALL UniverseS.

We know it's plausible, but it would definitely be below the LT.

Bottomline:

I honestly can't say with confidence,
who can defeat a properly harnessed IG besides the LT.

I place a few others above the IG in my hierarchy due to feats,
but the IG showed no limit, and no weakness,
and was never even close to losing except to the LT,
in fact, it's only superior seemed to be the LT.

Scathan does NOT approve!

guy222
thumb up

Superboy Prime
It goes like this...Infinites > Eternity > Celestials.

Knowsbleed33
Uhhh didn't Dormmamu put Eternity to sleep? Doesn't seem like it takes much to handle Eternity.

Anyway, Celestials ftw.

ultimatethor
Infinites took out eterbity easily they win

guy222
Nightmare captured Eternity

guy222
Scathan FTW

occultdestroyer
Never heard of the Infinites.
Are the Infinites strong enough to beat billions of Celestials?
I don't think so. Considering the fact that Scathan is a Celestial.

redhotrash
Beating Eternity isnt even a feat anymore. The guy plays the role of Damsel in Distress more often than MJ and Lois Lane combined. Im waiting for Green Goblin to kidnap Eternity and tie him to some railroad tracks in some elaborate plan to get Spidey to unmask.

I think that may be Eternity's lowest showing of all times. It was just disgraceful.
