I got this idea from the munchkin thread. The myth being that you can see a munchkin hang himself in the Wizard of Oz, which is not true.

Post any of these that you can think of.

The only one I can think of right now is that there is supposed to be a Ghost in a scene in 3 Men and A Baby, anyone else heard of this one?

T.M
Yeah I heard the 3 Men and A Baby one yes

The Blair Witch Project one is thrown around all the time when this topic comes up. this is when people think the events in the movie really happened.

And the one that says that the American version of King Kong vs. Godzilla had a different ending to the Japanese version i have heard to.

T.M
It's amazing how many people still think the movie was shot in a real house..

Pandemoniac
There is the legend that the shooting of the original 'The Haunting' was actually... haunted. Stuff getting replaced or equipment failing by unknown reasons, and actors sensing 'presences' on the set.

The Napoleon Dynamite thing actually prompted a Maddox Update, which is a feat in itself.
And that movie sucked anyway.

T.M
A myth about a movie that make me laugh is the one about the actress who played Jill Masterson in the James Bond movie URL=http://www.snopes.com/movies/films/goldfing.htm]Goldfinger died from asphyxiation after being covered with gold paint.

One of my favorite movies.

Mando
It is indeed a great movie. It even hold the record for most on-screen car crashes. I loved the part where they enter the building, and the SWAT,police, army, and seals go into the building.

hut...hut..hut...hut laughing out loud

Tptmanno1
So brilliant.

Nevermind
Blues Brothers = Best musical ever.

Tptmanno1
Agreed.

Mando
Very good musical. It's my favorite right above, 'Oliver!' and 'Newsies'.

But, to get back on topic. There was a big rumor about a girl from Goldfinger, who died of asphyxiation from being covered in gold paint. False

http://snopes.com/movies/films/goldfing.htm

But, one of the women on 'For your eye only' was once a man. True

And unfortunatley, Fargo was not based on a true story.

Actually Mando thats was meant to say SFX as a nodding sig to the CGI Disney team. The bottom of the "F" was suppose to trail of mistfully but people have mistaken it.

The Urban Legend of the "Lee's curse" when Brandon was smoked on the set of The Crow was one I thought about more than once. Who planted that bullet. Was it someone or something?
