Basically when she had her electromagnetic suit she was an artifical Mangeto, with her geothermal suit she is an artifical Sunfire.

They fought in vol.2, but I can't remember the outcome. I will look through the comics later tonight and post the scans.

I thought they'd fought before, but yeah, i can't remember how it went either. I can't decide who'd win. I'm leaning more towards Sunfire. But i've forgotten what Heather's geothermal suit was capable of...

Found it....but I won't say the verdict who won just yet. I'll post the scans shortly If the fight was not interupted one person would have been killed

One feat of hers that I remember is she actually absorbed all the heat from a nuclear reactor into her suit preventing it from reaching critical mass.

Imma go out on a limb and say Heather was the one about to die... Didn't they fight around the time that Sunfire was losing control of his powers due to "supposed" radiation poisoning?

Heather was about to kill him, she was about to coat him in molten rock until Murmur stoped her. I completly forgot about this actually. Also yeah that was the time, but it was Department H experimenting with him even trying to make him stronger. Injected him with this some sort of virus

I'm just about to post the WHOLE issue in the AF respect thread. The fight takes place AF #5 , and this was a brainwashed and inexperienced with her new suit Heather

Here are the scans of their fight....god lord another photobucket account I filled up. She almost killed him if it wasn't for Murmur and Mac's interuption. She's fine and continues to fight even melting or parts of Manbot.

Regardless Sunfire is still capable of going "super nova", who wins in the rematch since Heather won the first time.

Thanks for the scans. I was just flipping through the issue before this earlier. I never saw what happened in issue 5 though.

I think these two are pretty evenly matched. I think Sunfire would win the majority though. He's just got more potential for outright destruction IMO. He's also got alot of experiance and can be very powerful when it comes to it.

Heather has all the same, just to a slightly lesser degree.

Heather also has the speed factor, I don't think she can do the same teleportation trick she could do with her electromagnetivity suit, but they never fully explained it. She also has variety such as smog, steam, molten lava blasts, etc. Question since I don't honestly know how much heat can he take? He can dish out ALOT, but does he have the same durability?

I think he does, though now that you mention it i can't think of any time of the top of my head that he's been shown taking huge amounts of heat that isn't a result of his own power.

Sunfire can also be pretty fast...

Neither can I, that's why I asked. He seemed phased from the molten blast, but I don't know

Sunfire has always been the arrogant type rarely holding back, since this was his first mission with Alpha Flight so he doesn't have any connection to AF yet. He most likely was holding back, but he didn't even get a attack off. Guardian almost took him out when he was under Mesmero's control and he was holding back.

Oh ok, thanks. I'm a fan of AF so I know quite abit about them and why arn't you making comments in the AF respect thread? for shame

I'm pretty sure she does. Mac made the shiled in order to protect the user of the suit from drilling . All this suit does it tap into a different source of power. If she didn't have the shield she wouldn't be able to take the heat from her molten blasts or her ability to even produce a small volcano.

I forgot she also has super strength able to press 3.5 tons.

Hmm.....it would seem that Heather would win most of the fights, given a superior versatility and a slightly better durability.

Whoa this was just emailed to me Shaman], I had no idea Heather was this physically strong.
