Question asked: Who is stronger.
Way to arrive at a correct answer:
First ask what is the strongest feat that SmallVille Clark has done.
Once that is done, ask what the strongest feat accomplished by the Reeves' portrayal of Superman was.
Then sit back and slap yourself silly for thinking SmallVille Clark was even in the same league as the Reeves' depiction of Superman.
The Reeves' depiction was stopping earthquakes with his hands, flinging ICBMs into the sun, flying far faster than light, and literally stopping the rotation of the earth plus turning back time.
In essence ....Pre-Crisis Superman level feats.
What about SmallVille ....he is supposed to be a young Superman who has not matured in years and powers. Goodness, when the series started he couldn't even fly,and for the longest time he considered throwing a football to the next county a rather cool feat.
SmallVille clark is not even a contender.
Not even a contender.
Goodness, he couldn't even go against the Dean Cain version of Superman in that 90s TV show.
No way he stands against the Reeves Superman.
p.s: The Reeves' depiction of Superman could destroy the SmallVille version AND the Dean Cain version AND the other TV version from the 1950s.
Reeves version was basically pre-Crisis. Pure and simple.
Dean Cain's version was a weaker-type post-crisis Superman (although every now and then he would do something that was high-level post-crisis, or even low-level pre-crisis .....such as flying in less than a second to China to get Lois a chinese dinner ...literally).
The SmallVille version is basically a young post-Crisis Superman who hasn't developed all his powers yet. Note: Young AND Post-crisis = not-a-match-for-Reeves'-PREcrisis-Superman.
As ever, a fantastic post sir.
