I want to know What's the Best TV Theme tune ever?

Let's start with a familiar one.

Thundercats.

God, I can't even remember how that one goes!! use to watch some of that as well.

X-Files is up there for me. Love the theme.

The Simpsons!

He-Man, G.I. Joe, Silver Hawks, X-Men TAS, Spider-man TAS, Jem and the Holigrams, Miami Vice, 24 Theme,

I didn't know 24 had a theme tune. I thought it was just a few beeps.

Good tunes there, guys. Keep them coming.

Yes 24 does have a theme, they play it after each episode on the DVD's and sometimes during the episode in different versions.

I don't know it.

It should be "Theme Songs", not "Tunes", but anyway.

Family Matters, Barney (yes it's very recognizable, yall know it), Futurama.

I like the theme to House and Desperate Housewives...

Desperate Housewives...good one. I should have thunk of it.

I want to say Greys Anatomy, but it's so short and not really strong, and not mucy lyric.

I still like it though.

Mission: Impossible is another great one. Will & Grace has a cool tune.

And if we're doing songs with lyrics as well and not just tunes... Friends is good. The Cheers theme is a classic. And Sinatra's Married... with Children theme is great too... Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Family Guy and The Adams Family are all good too.

Umm...you only know the first 2 words which are "somebody save"

You've at least got to know "somebody save ME".

But yeah, that's a good song.
and Charmed. and I guess One Tree Hill, and Martin, and Everwood.

One tree hill and Everwood are very good calls.

A show is not a classic unless it has an ace theme tune.

The Wonder Years
The theme from The BBC film review programme Film 2006 is "I wish I knew how it would feel to be free" performed by the Billy Taylor, Trio, its one of my favourite pieces of music.

I liked the theme song to MacGyver.

the buffy and angel themes i like alot, along with stargate sg1, smallville,and startrek tng........oh and one tree hill.

i know not one of those theme songs. I know some of the shows, but the theme songs elude me.

I love the Snooker theme on the BBC(UK), the Grand Prix which is The Chain by Fleetwood Mac and the Top Gear theme, i think its called Jennifer by the Allman Brothers.

Battlestar Galactica

I like Torchwoods theme, but it's too short on the actual show for me, they should use the extended version for the opening, it's a lot better.

Growing up I liked the Gentle Ben and Flipper theme..All Star Trek of course. Le me not forget The Jefferson's, Good Times, The A Team and of course Happy Days.

I think American Idol is great because it is so recognizable.
