Team Telepath
Godlike Cable
Proteus
Martian Manhunter
Over-Mind
Xemnu the Titan
Alpha the Ultimate Mutant

vs

Thor
Savage Hulk
Superman
Immortal Hercules
Classic Juggernaut
Colossus
Mister Sinister
Cannonball
Dr Doom
Sentry
X-Man
Despero/DC

Alpha the Ultimate Mutant-Powers/Abilities: Alpha possesses telepathy and vast energy powers, enabling him to transmute elements, restructure matter, reverse the aging process, project force fields, teleport himself and others, fly, survive in the vacuum of space, etc. He has telekinetic powers, enabling him to lift a fifty story skyscraper and the surrounding land into the air. His powers are not without limits, and he is presumably less powerful than the Stranger.

Initially, he had a hulking form, which likely possessed great strength. In that form, he retained his full power, but lacked the intellect to utilize it properly. He could not even speak on his own, and could only follow direct orders. Within a few hours time, his brain (and cranium) had greatly grown in size, and he evolved into a being of great intellect, with a form to match.

He is roughly ten feet tall, though he almost certainly can alter his physical form at will.

quite a number of those guys are only mildly susceptible to only the strongest telepathy (especially the gods). and juggs with the helmet can't be phased by it. Colossus and Cannonball are the only one's that will really be harmed by it. Savage Hulk depending on his rage has a degree of immunity to TP. Ain't lookin good for team telepath. Not good at all.

GODSCRIBE
proteus with his reality warping will cause quite a problem though.

golem370
Did you see the Alpha Mutant he can transmute elements, restructure matter

GODSCRIBE
He gets speedblitzed out of existence by Supes and Sentry. They still lose. Only person posing a threat is Proteus.

golem370
Alpha Mutant would destroy Superman. He has Force Fields and he would turn Superman into a dildo for Martian Manhunter

The Ion
Why would J'onn want a dildo?

GODSCRIBE
Who knows. Why does superman wear bright red underwear over his spandex?

Don't act like thats nearly as weird as a straight man wanting a dildo.

GODSCRIBE
A Man?

Murda Mase
hmmm did you know Sentry is a telepath?

slade10
comes down to sentry vs. proteus, imo. No one else can hurt proteus. If sentry can, his team wins. If he can't, proteus wins by himself.

TheKahn
Team Telepath might be able to win this one. I think that the Sentry is vulerable to telepathic attacks, if they are able to control him they could take out a lot of the other team.

Juntai
LOL, the non telepath team has Despero.
He takes over MM, and systematically begins to take over others while they have their hands full of the super powerhouses of Sentry, Superman, Thor, etc.

Professor N
isnt proteus vulnerable to colosus because of the metal, potentil weakness and they will lose a very valuable character if they take proteus out of the equation

GODSCRIBE
there are a couple telepaths in the "non-telepaths" side as well. lol

Darth Macabre
The non Telepath team having Despero really isn't fair. no

Juntai
Yeah this is kinda lopsided.

golem370
Martian Manhunter & X-Man could probably beat Despero

Maybe if they both worked together. But individually afraid not.

And plus if Manhunter's worrying about Despero then Supes just speedblitzes him and the rest. It's either one or the other. MM physically fights Supes, or he mentally fights Despero.

Anyway Despero could teleport most of the telepath team away from the fight.

No. Only for the first fight. Think it was some sort of self-imposed limitation, since he had been living in a metal prison (what a great mother...) his entire life.

If it's lop-sided, it's lop-sided for the telepaths. How is anyone going to hurt proteus? He's a purely psionic entity, and immune to telepathic control. (indeed, iirc, attempts to affect him hurt the telepath)

He's shown reality warping on AT least the city-scale. And there's no reason he can't turn the entire team into bananas right at the start of the fight. The only reason he hasn't done it to the x-men, and all the other teams trying to stop him, is because he has no real interest in hurting them.

Sentry might be able to hurt him, since he taps into an energy source more fundamental than psionic energy. But if spectre can't, then I think proteus wins by himself. He's like franklin richards with no physical form to harm.

double post
