If you won a 5 minute shopping spree at the largest mall in the world? The mall has everything you can imagine, you just have to search for it. Here are the choices.

Quicksilver's Speed - He's stated as moving at 770mph, just a bit above the speed of sound. You can use Ultimate if you like(Mach 10), however, he loses mobility the faster he goes.

Nightcrawler's Teleportation - Max of 3 miles in range, you can port multiple times in seconds, and for this, you won't get tired.

Kiden Nixon's Chronal Manipulation - She can shift into a faster time stream, at that point, minutes to everyone else are like seconds to her. However, to get back to our time stream, she has to touch someone, but she touches them with so much force that she could potentially kill someone if she touched them wrong.

Now, let's say the mall is....as big as an amusement park, say Six Flags, and you have a shopping cart that never fills until the 5 minutes are up.

So, what's your choice?

And why wouldn't you be able to get all the powers within 5 minutes as well? What else are we going to get, Tampax Pearl?

I would chose to gain Girl Powerr. Any female with an infinite capacity cart should be able to clean that place in two minutes.

Well I meant you got to choose one of the power sets for the shopping spree, as in, which would be your favorite power to use to get around as quickly as possible. I'd go with Kiden, it says that seconds to us are like minutes to her. So by my random and flawed logic, 1 minute us=1 hour her. So she'd get 5 hours to do what she wanted.

I'd say Nightcrawlers teleportation.

I'd choose nightcrawlers porting. When he ports he opens a portal to another realm... Since porting would negate weight tiredness... Seeing five hours to a girl means she can still onky carry her wieigh limits.. I'd port to the bank and loot it. Bamf everything in the vault outta there. Since it would be in my portal realm I'd never have to actually carry anything and get tired...

Of course with a shopping cart or some such where the girl didn't actually have to carry anything... I d probably go with her

The powers are only for the shopping spree, you don't get to go rob banks or anything, and you have a shopping cart that never gets full, or hard to push.

On second thought NC is the only one that6 can move large objects. I mean what is I wanted a couch or something I woun't be able to carry it with the other characters but I can teleport that baby away.

Yeah, a couch can't fit into the hammerspace dimension of the cart, unless, uness it had a hammerspace dimension in it!!!!!

fine screw you guys, I teleport some into the Bottomless cart and put the couch there, therefore bypassing the stupid dimesions of the cart! WOOT!

Quicksilver. I pick up the cart amd turn it sideways. Then I run 700 mph through the store letting everything in sight get sucked in.

Guys are all about getting in. Buying high priced trinkets and getting out. Girls try on crap. 4 hour in the mall and most if that time is spent looking in the mirror turning to their boyfriend to ask the inevitable question "does this make me look fat"

I can't stop trying to think of ways to manipulate the cart. If it's just the bottom that is the bottomless portal you can cut the rest of the cart off kind of swing it around like a bugnet. If the whole thing is the bottomless portal you can maybe cut or stretch the sides out until it's really big like a shield and run into everything.

Of the powers listed, I'm gonna have to go with Quicksilver's. Maybe Ultimate Quicksilver depending on how much coordination he has as he gets faster than classic Quicksilver.

With Nightcrawler's powers, you could maybe take entire shelves of stuff into the cart dimension at a time, but he has weight limits that tire him.

With Kiden's powers, how long do you think you can operate at peak efficiency to make use of the time? I know after an hour of two of tipping TVs into a cart I'd be pretty beat.

Seems the way you typed this that you are going to get the opposite affect than you'd want in this situation.

So the 5 minutes to everyone else would be over in a mere 5 seconds to Kiden.

According to her power set, that's not what will happen, check it -

Temporal Stasis: (aka Chronokinesis) Nixon can realign herself into a faster time-stream, shifting herself into a state in which time moves so slowly relative to her perception that it appears to stop, although she continues to operate normally. When she moves to this faster time-stream, seconds to everyone else are minutes to her. While in this state she does not need food or rest.
Relative to the rest of the world, however, she moves at impossible speeds. Because of that, when in this state she unwillingly applies an extreme amount of force to whatever she touches. A simple touch, therefore, has the same impact as a punch from a much stronger person. Ironically and unfortunately she can only leave the faster time-stream if she touches the skin of another person. Usually the shift is voluntary, but Nixon may unconsciously shift in stressful circumstances.

Ah, you just mixed it up a little.

Yes. It's been a little over 5 years sense I originally chose the screen name for XBL. I've sense change my Live screen name, but I tend to continue to choose it for message boards. That episode is also what I was thinking when I made the Live account.

You can't harp on someone for posting off topic when you are the one who caused it to go off topic.

The key phrases in the description of Kidens powers are that she requires no rest whilst in her own timestream but that she applies an unwitting amount of force on things meaning although you could shift anything you wanted for pretty much as long as you wanted, you run the risk of smashing everything you touch/your hands if you're trying to move say a fridge.
