Let's say if you were given a chance to not only become a hero but you can grant yourself any ability you want.

1. What name would you give yourself for your SINGLE ability (can only grant yourself one power)?
2. You have to provide a pro and a con (a way to overcome said ability) for your new power.
3. The ability you choose have to be something that has never been shown in comics per your knowledge (if you are not aware of said ability, then it doesn't count against you).
4. Don't think to hard on this. Example...if super speed was an option, don't think that your skin would peel back if you used it.

My name would be Counter.

I would probably be high meta.
I can counter/dodge ANY physical attack. Natural reaction.

Con of this is anything not PHYSICAL, that cant be seen, I'm screwed and I still retain my human physical stats, durability and strength which means I have to find other measures of taking someone out who has insane durability.

FLASH FORWARD.

The ability to pull replicate by "pulling" myself from various points in the past.
PRO: No known upper limit to that number.
CON: Any major damage suffered by a past self will affect any past self that's come after the injured one i've already "pulled".
Actual death to a past self will affect ME.

Like that. Amazing power.

LEPER MESSIAH.

Pros: Power of LEPROSY protects me from all street levelers.

Con: I have leprosy.

pros

'can touch a Smart TV and see all the way back to the first transistors also to any future technology that will be spurn from the ideas or usage of said tech'. this will be good for gadget making and stuff to that extent.

cons

cannot hold the knowledge indefinitely. if he is not within eyesight, knowledge of tech will diminish and cease after time (10 minutes) due to always seeing or touching something and having to compete with Memory space and processing power.

also without the ability to touch the tech or see it the power is rendered useless.

Cons I get bored at being Perfect at everything including being bored.

Cons: Being so good makes me extremely arrogant. Inability to listen/work with others results in getting screwjobbed by own teammates.

power - hypnotizing people by dancing psionically. also inherently knowing what dance form the subject finds most mesmerizing, as well as, the ability to do all forms of dance

pros - can really cut a rug, and get people to do anything

cons - have to physically be able to dance (need legs, arms, etc)
cannot do dances that does not predicate human physiology

Pros/ No more boring weekends.

Cons? Well I guess it wouldn't smell to good after a few days.

Ability to produce and fire any fruit from any part of my body

Pro - I like fruit

Con - I get bored of fruit if I eat the same thing too often ... also I may be mistaken for a homosexual (not that there's anything wrong with that)

Name: Burnout

Power: My body can turn fat into raw energy and it allows me a limited amount of time using super speed or super strength.

Pro: I can go beyond the limitations of normal humans.

Con: I have to be about 30 pounds overweight in order to get any real amount of time using my powers.

My power would be complete energy manipulation as i control all types of energy but nothing more. I guess it would come close to atomic manipulation as i can completely convert electricity to nuclear energy or create any type of energy out of thin air. Something like this would make me a high end herald i guess.

2. Pro: My powers are already kinda OP like since i can control all types of energy. I can pretty much stop a person from even moving since i can control kinetic energy for example. Oh and the more energy(any type) i absorb the more power i get. Of course it's proportionate to what type like as in Nuclear energy will get me huge amounts of power quickly compared to wind energy.

Con: I'm kinda like a battery so if some reason i can't get drained. I'm pretty much powerless.

Pros: i can instantly assimilate into any society or social group, subconsciously nullifying the ability/need of others to recognize user as nothing else than part of the group/social structure i place myself. I could walk into a restaurant and immediately assume a position of waiter, or go into a crime organization and assume a the role of a loyal member. I can feel the general emotions of a society or group of people by having an internal social mirror.

Con: Have to constantly remind myself who i truly am

This sounds like Vulcan. Can't be used since this ability is already in play.

Like you know transmutate myself into a body pure energy or can travel through energies like you know..make myself appear out of a pit of fire or travel through current of electricity. Plus i'm not sure if i can do that brain thing Vulcan does...i'm really not sure how that works with energy manipulation.

The ability to amp or decrease any of the 5 senses of an opponent.

PRO: No one known to be immune.
CON: The same sense i'm amping/decreasing in an opponent will do the opposite in me.

I move extremely fast, and as technology increases so does my speed.

Pros: I can hack any computer or rewrite any program, enter electrical sockets, and RJ sockets allowing for me to move across the planet as fast as radio waves. I possess extraordinary super strength, durability, and can become intangible. I can short circuit a persons central nervous system, or amplify them to super human levels by fusing with them.

Cons: If technology should ever crash and we go back to the stone age, I will cease to exist.
