What the hell is the difference between Ion and a basic GL ?

.........let me think Ion could be everywere at all times he was basically parallax but with kyle rayner a being known as oblivion was stealing parallax powers and giving them to rayner thus making him have unbeliavable powers making him a cosmic entity he was so powerful he was godlike so he gave his powers up cause he was losing touch with humanity.

Basically, WTF could genis do?

Genis get's am ass beating then , since Ion seems to be a non evil parralex.

so the micro verse won't help genis here?...............
