Poem Fridays are when we enter our Poems on Fridays and then they get judged on which is the best, starting this Friday, so enter/start making them eeeeeek. Just in case no one sees this, I will be entering every Friday so there will be someone here to face. Most of the times there will be themes, or if no one can think of any, then pick what ever. Also, themes could come from a picture that a Judge or other, might post and we have to write a Poem on what we think the pic is saying, eeeeek. Usually you will get the theme on Monday, then work all the way and enter it on Friday eeeeeek.(Fri,Sat,Sun) will be judging days.

I freestyled this one on the spot so it sucks

I remember when I was little
Always eating skittles
playing baseball in the park
even after dark

It wasn't all games, masking the pain
Trying not to end up insane.
I remember everything going wrong
trying to be strong, telling myself I must go on

Disorder as a child, people making fun
almost dieing from it, Oh I thought I was done
It didn't stop there, but I didn't really care
even it was to much to bare.

No true friends, House burning to the ground
me still here, not making a sound
still alone, after my new home
lots of other stuff, but can't
begin to start ....

I Remember

I remember the darkness around me
I remember how I didn't want to see
The devastated look upon your face
When I told you I'd fallen from grace
And I've never felt the same amount of shame
When you agonizingly sofly whispered my name.

I remember the tears in your eyes
And the pain you could not disguise
I remember hating myself that day
And felt you did too, though you wouldn't say
Just what was going through your mind
But I knew forgiveness you wouldn't find.

I remember feeling my heart beat late;
Such a reaction I did not anticipate
And from this reaction did I feel dread;
Oh how I wished, I wished I was dead.
In your eyes I was no longer there
And I couldn't bear to see your empty stare.

I don't think we will ever reconsile
And if we do it will be a long while
But I don't think it is fair to you;
Your thoughts and actions I cannot misconstrue.
