If he can ignite the sword with the Flame Imperishable, Surtur wins by ringout when he destroys the Universe and heads back to Muspelheim.
(That's why the Sword bit is important)

Yep, and this is one of the reasons I think it is a good matchup. Both characters are destroyers of worlds, and more.
I think as it stands Imperiex was better written as uber-powerful, but it would still be a very nice bout.

Yes. Surtur ignighted the entire nebula where Bill's homeworld was located in order to reforge his long-broken sword. I guess that's what you do when even Muspellheim isn't hot enough for the job. Eat your heart out, Mt. Doom!
