nothing can hurt mario when he has the star. but you think he can take on superman with it ? if yes he better step on it cause it only lasts for a short period of time which sucks.

Mario still can be killed if he falls in the pitt.

Mario can never beat Superman in a short time period, it would be impossible for him to catch him....And he still can't hurt Superman so...

Mario will try to take Superman down for 10-15 seconds and when the star is out Supes will leave Mario as a red smear on the ground with his heat vision.
