the twist is it is a foot race just dont who would win but what place like 1st 2nd 3rd

1. Flash
2. Zoom
3. Superman
4. quiksilver
5. Hulk

Let's try this:

1) Zoom (or Flash, if the Flash fully taps into the SF)
2) Flash (or Zoom, if the Flash is fully tapped into the speed force).



gap (could be minor or major depending on who is writing Superman, but usually leans more on the minor side)

3) Superman at either a fraction of the speed of light to kissing (and at times exceeding) light speed

gap (MAJOR gap ......immensely significant since number one through three are so much faster than Quicksilver that to them QSilver would seem to be standing still)

4) Quicksilver at Mach speeds

gap (considerable gap)

5) The Hulk at 300mph.

DC did a number of races that pitted Superman vs the Flash, and while in most no clear winner was depicted in a couple the Flash won by an inch or so.


Here is a nice link with most of those race matchups .....note than in almost all of them Superman is running not flying.

Anyways, it is safe to assume that Superman can run just a hair under what the Flash can run (although if the Flash taps into the SF then he should transcend linear speed ....like when he beat instantaneous travel, a feat that basically indicates the Flash was going beyond speed).

p.s: Probably the best summary of who would win in a foot race (from the 1990 Adventures of Superman # 463)

Flash is way faster then Superman these days now

Flash is a wayyy faster runner. Supes can only hope to come close to him when he's flying in space. that being said Zoom win with fair ease.

Yup

actually maybe slightly faster. but jay's not faster by much.

1. Flash (simply steals Superman and Quicksilver's speed)

2. Zoom (hardly losses to Flash)

3. Superman

4.Quicksilver

5. Hulk (why is hulk in this race?!?!)

If this is current Quicksilver he could be Zoom speeds as he can time shift as well.

QS time travels and wins.

It's Zoom...in the comic where zoom hits ww and she says he hits harder than supes she also says its not that he is going fast at all but merely time travelling

What's the point of having Hulk in this thread anyway?

no QS isn't even close to as fast as Zoom all he can do is go like five minutes into the future. Zoom however has complete control of his timeline. he's a lightspeed in a frozen world.

If he was just doing that then he couldn't effect the environment like he does ALWAYS.

I never said he was as fast as Zoom, and he can go into the future more than just 10 minutes. As he he brought a newspaper back with him next week into the future.

I agree I never said Quicksilver could beat Zoom, not at all.

yeah but why did they have to screw with QS's powers they were cool the way they were the whole time traveling thing its not for him.

It's actually been implied that Quicksilver's powers were time-related when he met his future self (who could easily travel faster than him) in his solo series during the nineties.
