We're not talking about Current Ion, we're talking about the Ion of old with his omnipotent powers. He was much more formidable back then than he is now. But I agree that he is definitely not the most powerful character in the DCU, even Classic Ion.

They never said he's the most powerful character, just the most powerful superhero.

Of course it wasnt a bad thing (I enjoyed it )

Im just saying that even though he is powerful, he isnt nearly as skilled as some of the other GL's

First of all, Sinestro is not a GL. Second of all, Classic Ion was much more formidable than he is right now.

Sinestro or Kyle? Either way the number of currently alive GL's superior to them can be counted on one hand and all of them easily debatable.

I think Kyle is the most skilled of the GL's. That's my honest opinion. I think it was a mistake to pick military types for the GL power. What you need is people that are creative, like Kyle.

Classic Ion is a slight step above Parallax. However, Current Ion is probably below Parallax.
