is this the newer supergirl, im pretty knowledgless about supergirl but im sure there was one who had different powers from the current one.

Supergirl's biggest advantage here is her speed.

That and the fact that she is well...Supergirl

I would assume this is Kara Zor-El but either one of them would win.

i don't know about linda danvers but the fantastic four have a decent chance against the newer supergirl surely.

Nah. Kara proved herself to be conclusively above Superman's average power levels and isn't as prone to holding back.

She hasnt, people just said she was more powerful than Supes at first because she dosent hold back nearly as much, and supes does

didn't batman say that they hadn't measured her power levels in superman/batman. So she could be weaker for all we know (giving the FF a chance)

Supergirl #5 showed Superman had to drop a few mental blocks to pass her power level. Earlier than that even Clark thought she was more powerful than he was.

So yeah, she is above his day to day power level.

Unless Superman decides to take off the kiddy gloves, of course, as he's already shown...

But, like they said, Supergirl's too much for this team without prep.

I'm not disputing that. From what I gather from issues 1-5 of her current series, she's slightly stronger than Wonder Woman though not nearly as skilled which is supported by Diana's line to her in #5. Then again, official company tagline is that WW is DC's strongest female. Perhaps they're equals.

Yes, however those scans show that when Superman doesn't hold back, he is still the most Super of all the Super family.

The F4 wouldn't have any chance without prep against a character that can take them out in any number of ways. This would be tantamount to having four mounted Knights from the middle ages try to take on a fully armed F-15E fighter-bomber, at night, that has a targeting pod (that can even pick up the horsemen using their bodyheat in the night) over the Iraqi desert. The knights wouldn't even know what killed them.

i dont think it would be a quick victory, but i do think she can pull it off as well.
