um Plastic Man their is realy know way he can hurt him unless u use some sort of weapon

Yea I can't see a way for Colossus to win this fight. I can't see a way for PM to win either. The best he can do is mobilize Colossus. Being Colossus does not breath I don't see PM soffocating him or anything.

I say draw.

plastic man'll use his stretching to affect the enviornment against colossus. I call it draw tho.

wont do jack if colossus punches him. it will just go through him and pop out. just like when thing punched mr fantastic in the movie.

I call it draw. they're both too durable, and p-man's not strong enough to pierce piotr's armour.

I think Plas could immobilize Colossus; get him so mired in tendrils and whatever that he'd have no leverage.

well, technically plastic man has a small weakness to fire, and colossus has a weakness to magnets, but they both overcame those.

What if Plastic Man creeped inside Colossus's ear or nose or something and invaded his body?

Once again, gross underestimation of Plastic Man....it's a nigh-constant trend of PM threads on this forum.

Colossus doesn't stand a chance. He needs to breathe. And he has ways into his body that go to his non-metal brain. There's 2 easy ways for PM to win. Brain invasion or complete bubble that encloses Colossus. And yes, he's used both of these techniques before in the comics. I'd invent more ways if I needed to, but that should be plenty.

Yes. Everybody seems to underrestimate Plastic Man. Like I've said before, it's because of his personality as a goofball. However, there is one problem with your theory; Colossus doesn't have to breath.

Yeap...I mean look at the scans...you know who they send to deal with him? Plastic Man

plastic man's just not strong enough to hurt colossus. he's durable enough to stand and take any damage colossus dishes out, but he's not gonna hurt him or tire him out.

Seriously, this is what Digi and I are talking about. People are always underrestimating Plastic Man. It's reall a shame. Whittdawg, don't think of PM on the level of Reed, he is FAR beyond Reed.

Can someone explain how Eel isn't strong enough to hurt Colossus? Is everyone just ignoring that he went hand to hand with a Burning Martian at giant sizes?

Yes I think they are....a guy who could take on white martians, a flash, a green lantern, wonder woman, Superman, Batman and others.....they send Plastic Man to beat him...and yet Colossus can take him into a stalemate?

Well, to be fair, that would be 'ABC Logic,' (A can beat B, and B can beat C, so A can beat C) which doesn't always work.

Plastic Man still wins though.

ABC Logic doesn't always work but the way Eel and Fernus fought is the same way Eel and Colossus would fight. Based on the Fernus showing, PM is flat out stronger than Colossus.

I want to see scans of Fernus and Plasticman slugging it out. Clearly all the phasing and telepathy that worked on the Justice League doesn't work on PM so the fight must of been collateral-damage-ful.

Colossus can't win this. Plastic Man is just too strechy

But Plastic Man can't do a thing to hurt Colossus to win...So I don't know...

In a JLA comic, PM went through a monster's nasal cavities to pull out a device in his brain. Petey's steel alright, but he still has nasal cavities, a mouth, ears, etc. As far as I know, he doesn't lose the aility to hear in steel-mode, meaning there's still an opening. And that's really much more than PM needs for that tactic.

Also, he's not a slouch in strength, and once he gets Colossus off-balance, he could simply pick him up and dangle him in the air. Colossus can't hurt PM, nor tear him (especially with no leverage). And PM is already thousands of years old. He could simply hold him stationary until he dies.

Of course, the brain invasion is much swifter.

If PM is strong enough to bend organic steel then he may win. I say organic steel cause it is far harder than normal steel. If not then PM is not gonna do any damage to Colossus. Colossus' entire body turns into steel and he does not need to breath.

I still say stalemate but PM may be able to mobilize him or something but I don't know if that counts as a win. Has anybody ever tied PM into a knot?

Tying him into a knot wouldn't really do anything.

I remember seeing him get torn in half from Doomsday.

PM could untie himself from a knot.

He could change his density to make it impossible for Colossus to tie him in a knot. Seriously, the guy makes incredibly wierd and creative shapes to beat opponents and I feel in this situation, he is severly underrestimated.

Fair enough, but they're obviously on a different level than Pete. Actually, I think DD ripped him apart prior to fighting Superman (not that that would kill him, because it obviously didn;t, but it slowed him down for a while). But even with someone of DD's strength, it seemed awfully PIS-ish to rip him in two. It really shouldn't be possible unless you can stretch him past his limit.

Exactly. Hasn't PM shown to be able to stretch around the entire planet? He can do that but when DD stretched his head six feet, he was torn in two.

I suppose that makes sense. But I still think it was just PIS to make DD look sweet.

Unfortunately it still doesn't kill him ( )....short of something like molecular disintegration, he'll always reconstitute, so he's really an extremely tough person to take out...even more so than many "heavy-hitter" types who'll die with enough force.

Nah, it's probably possible. The analogy might not have been perfect, but it made a valid point. At least it's the best logical justification for it (besides PIS).

He actually does have a form of super strength. It really depends on what form he decides to take.

He can turn himself into a toilet and flush people down himself. I'm not sure if he can seperate into another person (doubtful) but he's hella-versatile (the toilet thing is only an example). And yes, he stalemated MM. But no, no intangibility.

how could P-MAn stalemate MM? I like both the characters the same, but MM, based on his powers should eliminate, or at least incapacitate plastic man.

PM's mind is immune to TP.

I didn't say anything about telepathy, I'm stating that MM is a slightly weaker green superman, and he's got stretching and intangibility too, and with his million powers, (which now that I think is kinda ridiculous too), should beat him somehow.

Nah, it's pretty simple. PM's immune to telepathy. Strength attacks really don't do anything to PM (at least when he's ready for it). PM's beyond J'onn in terms of shape-shifting and stretchibility. He won't be able to do anything to PM in intangible mode. And the only other thing MM has going for him is his Martian Vision or whatever (energy projection). And PM was durable enough to take that without being vaporized or seriously harmed.

PM would have a hard time killing MM....which is why it's rightly been called a stalemate. If anything, J'onn was getting the better of the fight, and PM was just keeping him busy. But it was still impressive because neither could seriously harm the other.

I would have to give it to PM just by a hair for this reason, is that Colossus needs to sleep and when he is either knocked unconscious or falls asleep he reverts back to his human form. PM would simple need to stay awake long enough for him to fall asleep or tie himself in such a good knot that he could wait it out. Now granted that he has stayed in this form without sleep for a very long time.
