Yeah, big deal. There isn't any proof that Mon El was charging at him at the speed of light. Superman would rush for KK before he can even think, speedblitz him, or he could vibrate him self intangible or invisible to make it impossible for KK to hit him, and then kill him.

People forget that KK has deflected objects traveling at lightspeed with his barehands and feet (and not just Daxamites).

Here KK shatters the Emerald Eye, a gem that both Monel and Superboy punched at full strength and couldn't even damage:

The odds are in Superman's favor, but I wouldn't be surprised if KK scored a few victories. KK knows the weak point in Supes' biomatrix.

Considering KK's abilities, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he could counter any of those moves.

KK can also fly at extreme speeds from point to point using his flight ring. He's capable of interstellar flight with a Legion flightsuit.

I heard he can also pull laser beams out his ass.

Mind you, this is just speculation, but KK's martial arts skill is a HUGE plot device so any thing's possible when fighting him.

KK can also effect lifeforces through his chi attacks. Intangible or not, Supes still has a lifeforce.

KK wins here. Supermans best chance is bimbo, i mean t-vo, and chances are Vally knows somekind of mystic meditation to counter it.

Come on look at those scans Mon-el was shooting heat vision 2 inches wide..... KK remembers his training dodging arrows and butcher knifes.

The page after the last scan shows Mon-El in the next solar system before he even realized it so it's fair to assume he was going pretty fast and even faster when Val deflected him.

For my money, any character that relies on strength and isn't as versatile as a Magneto or Cable gets owned by Karate Kid. He's even taken down versatile characters by himself.

Here are some simple and yet effective ways for Superman to take down Karate Kid...

1. Superman scans KK's body for weak pressure points, turns intangible, strikes him there faster than KK can react and as hard as he can hit.

2. Superman freezes the entire surrounding environment so KK freezes to death. There would be no protection from that.

3. Superman blasts him to death with his heat vision. Now before you go saying "BUT BUT KARATE KID DODGED MON-EL'S HEAT VISION," understand that Mon-El's blasts were at the most 2 inches wide in diameter. As we've seen, Superman's heat vision is wide enough to cover the planet, so he isn't dodging it.

4. Superman f*cks up his mind with T-Vo and makes him think he's a dog or something.

etc. etc. etc.

Those are just a few of MANY ways for Superman to take him down...

Superman never uses T-Vo. The power itself isn't listed in any official DC sanctioned bio for the character. Quit acting like he's going to use it in every forum fight.

Mmmmkay, I hardly ever bring it up in Superman fights. Although I do sometimes, that doesn't mean it isn't a viable tactic. It's pretty clear that comic books>>>>>>>>>bios/handbooks. You of all people should no this. If we went by bios, then Karate Kid shouldn't even be beating people above street level. And yet, he does just because he does.

Take Thor for example. No bio I've read lists even half of the stuff Thor has ever done with Mjolnir.

Flash has speedforced dump more than Supes has used T-Vo. That's a listed ability of his and has been a normal part of the Flash mythos for 20 years now.

T-Vo only exists when Joe Casey wants it to.

It still exists in comic books and he has demonstrated it occasionally. Who are we to say that our word is greater than a DEMONSTRATED power that has been shown in a canon comic???
