I've been waiting to make this thread. I finally have access to a scanner. Most of my artwork is either Star Wars Fan Art (I'll explain later) or wallpapers. My most recent wallpapers are always available at my website.

Thanks, I did that for a local competition. Pieces dan be no larger than 4x5 or 3x4x5. Theres soem great stuff there.

Well, I guess "high-res" is relative. 1024x768 is pretty standard.

If i figure out some photo sites to join, I'll bump it up to 1600x1200.

and the image was kind of pixely (just off of google)...but its what I was looking for.

Excellent concept!

Just a few changes...its pretty darn spot on.

First, the title is ANAKIN AND THE SENATOR. (A call back to Han Solo and the Princess). Drop the single title down a bit and place the byline underneath it in the blank space in the middle.

I love the coloring idea, the contrast between dark and white...however, can you lighten the area around Anakin's head, sort of rendering Anakin in front of the black area rather than looking like he is fading into the black. Make sense?

Perhaps have the black fade to white just below his shoulders, so his head is more clear.

Thematically, this really works. It communicates quite a bit...and I love the picture. I can't really listen to this theme and not picture Padme in that outfit.

That's awesome. I can usually only paint people and even that tends to be rather hit or miss

And if you want to talk about working big, I have a piece I can't finish because the file got so large that Photoshop will crash while trying to open it.

I had one of those.

But, I'm more reffering to physical art, not digital. And I don't have a nice camera to take pictures

Meh, I hate that though. I've got a few drawings I've done that are too large to fit on a scanner and my camera is old and crappy.
