His punches didn't alter reality. The walls of the dimension they were stuck in altered reality. Kal-L was pounding on those walls and had the same effect yet he was stalemated by Superman.

Like Parallax or not, his energy level was enough to alter the entire universe without loopholes like that.

meh did kyle beat parallax while he was a normal GL or Ion, i know he did contain the big bang, he must have had to go over time on his will power, i dont now about jobbing i guess your normal GL aint that smart? unknown, it depends on the GL individual if you have dumb GL's and an army of them it dont matter they will get pawns by someone who is very immune to damage like SBP im not saying kyle is one of these guys but yeah the kid was just really strong, he broke through the phantom zone, was immune to magic, servived being pulled into the speed force, and slaped around MM, MM did beat up on the JLA but i guess thats not a good example since it was furnus.
