i know this is a crazy question but i am wondering who would win Goku form dbz or superman

i dont think this has been done, and dbz isnt allowed here. 2 rules broken.

I've counted 9 Goku vs superman threads in the last three weeks.

this will be closed but ill state my thoughts here first i dont know goku might be able to win at ss4. um i know he would win if ss4 gaku and ss4 vegeta fused together.

He can win at SS1

SSJ1 Goku would win but it would be a good fight. Anything above that is a massive curb stomp.

If they face a new stronger enemy they just change to SSJ Level1,2,3..

Even Superman is more entertaining. The old Dragonball mangas were cool. After he grew up the series become more and more ridiculious and not even funny.

Vegeta without transformation in his first appearences was powerful enough to destroy planets. LAter their power levels grew up from 1000s to Millions. And suddenly sayans every where, humans just weak, human Z fighters didnt got stronger but more sayan-humns popped out.

Goku was cool and unique but after Vegeta, Gohan and the other sayans joining it got boring.

Anyway, Goku wins, even if Supes has the upper hand Goku would change to SSJ X or Fuse with Vegeta. Like I said ridiculious powerful.

I think that Goku would win easily but 1) the Dragonball art is so bad it makes Romita Jr.'s flat/bland artwork look like it was done by Picasso and 2) Dragonball Z is bad... it is bad even compared to other Shonen anime which... which are typically bad. The story line (if it can be called that) is unoriginal, uninspired and so repetitive it is crazy.

Good ol' DBZ. Reminds me of a joke I heard. How many DBZ characters does it take to screw in a light bulb? Only 1 but it will take him 3 episodes.

Seriously, I don't think anything below SSJ2 is going to beat Superman.

SSJ1 Goku was going above light speed in his fight with Freeza and throwing around condensed energy attacks with more then enough power to destroy a planet several times over. Superman is leagues stronger but what good will that do him when he is incinerated right of the starting bell?

It's not about quantity, it's quality. Superman has stopped atom smashing attacks and beams by simply extending his hand DBZ style.

Disintegration beams don't even tickle the guy...he's been hit with one and barely noticed.

Something I find interesting is that I think DBZ and Marvel influenced Supermans feats to start going over the top again. After DC toned him down and DBZ started slowly booming in the 90's, Superman started going up in power again.

There wouldn't be anything "Super" about a Superman who isn't over the top when compared to other characters.

Another interesting thing is that Superman should be able to fire beams from his hands, not just his eyes. Eradicator, in a clone body was able to do it, and Preus who has a near identical powerset to Superman can do either HV or hand blasts.

Here is supes surviving an island destroying nuke at ground zero WHILE laying in kryptonite AND weakened from fighting multiple enemies for days. He comes out unfazed.

Superman has blasted the entire Earth with heat vision before. He could fry the planet if he wanted to. Goku has already shown he is scared of magma. He'd get incinerated if Superman superheated his beams.
