Many great suspenseful moments in Alien and Jaws...

Jurassic Park - Several moments... most notable the raptor sequence in the kitchen.

The Exorcist - The suspense of waiting for something good to happen...

Silence of the Lambs - The night vision goggles.

Misery - Don't remember the exact scene, but when the guy is out of bed and has to get back before crazy lady gets catches him...

The Shining - The wife of Jack is looking at the "book" Jack is writing when he comes slowly infront of the camera and asks what she thinks as she gets nervous and backs away.

That's a great choice.

Pulp Fiction. When Vincent is about to administer the adrenaline shot to Mia.

In 'Sonatine' when the boss shoots the man in front of the boat, but doesn't see Aniki, and just walks off.

High suspense. Good scene.

Haute Tension: The whole kidnapping.

Kill Bill Vol 2: Kiddo getting buried alive.

Hostel: The Torture scene.

TCM: The scene before Leatherface's kills his first victim.

I don't necessarily have any to add right now, but I wanted to hear more thoughts/opinions.

Fight Club, the scenes leading up to When the Narrator realizes him and Tyler are the same person

Alien - Kane's last dinner and when Dallas goes into the ventilation system.

Aliens - The "It's reading right man, look!" scene in the Infirmary and when the Marines are in the hive.

The Thing - The kennel scene.

The Descent - The cave in and when the creatures first attack.
