Thor alone bested a hungry Galactus. You are putting ALL The asgardians AND olympians against him? Overkill.

Pretty much. If Galactus its at its worst and you have the main Olympian and Asgardian Gods (you dont even need all of them here id say. Just the big guns) standing together against him, hes going to at the very least run away, before something happens, Imo.
