Arkon is a pretty skilled fighter, and his strength, durability and other physical stats will be a good match for Slade, now add in those lightning bolt darts, Slade is done.He'll come back from death, but still loose.
The most powerful of those darts can level a mountain, and Slade can't take that much of power.
