BAH! this sucks ass...there are loads of "confirmations" from people at Disney who have been saying that Its a Will/Liz thing they are aiming for

And there are writers notes on the pages of the leaked script that "Will is wrong in assuming that Elizabeth Loved Jack"

Bruckheimer said at the last comic-con that the next movie as far as relationships go would be about Liz trying to get Will back.


and there are more..oh man this has just totally made my dreams crash and burn..

What the hell? Where did you hear that? Is it a credible source? And just because Will is wrong in assuming Liz loved Jack then doesn't mean she won't love him later.
What was the point of her turning pirate? So she could have her adventure and get it out of her system before she settled down and went into a lifestyle completely unsuitable for her personality? What was the point of all those scenes between her and Jack? Why did they make it so clear she had a special place in his heart?
Did they not pay attention to the deleted scenes? Jack and Liz are two of a kind, peas in a pod. I'm mad! Mad as hell! Can't we all write to Disney and say just because Johnny Depp was uncomfortable kissing Keira doesn't give them the right to make a nonsensical ending. He kissed freakin' Christina Ricci and she was less than half his age. At least Keira's not a freakin' minor.

Curse you, Disney! Curse you for showing us what we can't have.

However, this is a good advertisement for the sequels posted here. At World's End and POTC 4 are posted here on this board and talented people like Kate and CaptainJacky and several others have written excellent stories that show Jack and Liz's relationship the way it should be. Take that, Disney!

as far as the johnny being wierded out by kissing kiera, i have a theory that he wouldnt mind kissing shirley temple if it meant his part got bigger and he got more scenes in the film. ya know what i mean? johnny loves to dominate. so even if it meant doing a few awkward scenes, dont you think he would jump at the chance to take jack's character to that new place and take over the film...?

Loved your Casablanca reference!! One of my favorite films ever. Kind of softens the blow of the Jack/Liz split. Perhaps Jack will send her back to Will in the end because he is an honorable man. And Liz will lower her head tearfully and ask, "But what about us?" And Jack will answer, "We'll always have the Island (Paris)" Then Jack will gently raise her head with his finger saying, "Here's looking at the rum, kid" bawling

the script excerpt of the "kiss of death" scene said this: desired all the more, knowing her true heart was the same as his. So there you go -- straight from the writers themselves.

AHA!!! the last 2 movies were written at the same time..so maybe their first intent was to make Liz not really..be falling for him and vise versa...the second draft script gets finished and finalised before the third..So when the3rd one was leaked..it still said "she does not want him" and vise versa crap..

I've said this many times, ladies ...I don't believe that leaked script at all - if you read it and really read it - I'm sorry but it is crappy and I don't seriously Disney would produce a movie based on this script....we cannot panic...Disney would be letting down a big majority of the audience if they don't center POTC 3 around Jack - because Jack is Pirates of the Caribbean...and Will is just an afterthought...so why would a minute character such as Will end up with the Girl....especially since it is indicated that JACK - the main character - Wants Liz.....AHHH

i ll admit though, i get a bit dillusional about films. i tend to add on my own extra scenes to make it work out the way i want. like in peter pan, there is a secret final scene where peter comes back and wendy changes her mind and goes back to neverland with peter forever.

Agreed....I really don't think they would leak out the script to the most anticipated movie of 2007 - come on look at the records DMC broke and the way it ended and the way the audience can't wait to see what will happen next...Sorry, but the script is a hoax as far as I'm concerned....or a ploy...but not at all what Bruckheimer Productions and Disney will release to us....no way. If it is, then I feel sorry for Disney, Jerry, Ted, Gore, Johnny - cuz the 3rd will be an embarrasment and big let down after the two glorious first films....why would they even introduce the LIz/Jack thing if they don't intend to act on it....although I do hope what Ted said about the compass in movie 2 is correct - cuz it would show that they did want us to realize that Jack wants Liz

If this is true, then we can now assume that Jack wants Elizabeth...but cannot claim her as his own...because of Will or because he is Jack Sparrow - in his mind he is not suppose to be with just one woman, so he is in denial, but he can't stop thinking about her.......and what does Tia inform us of here...reflecting back to what Gibbs says earlier....What vexes men most....A WOMAN (jack know this, cuz he himself is vexed by a woman...a woman he can't have - or so he thinks - and a woman he shouldn't want, but does...and is causing him to go in circles - he is no longer focused on the material objects and that horizon....)

I have a strong and horrible feeling that its going to be a movie where Liz..really wants to win Will back..Jack will be chasing after her but wont get her because apparently "she's not actually interested in him at all" He will probably steb back or something to stop Will becoming like Davy Jones...this well and truly sucks man..Why cant Jack just have love in his life..he needs, and deserves it more that Will IMO...Will has his dad..but Jack has no one if he loses Liz.

OK we know how much everything changes drastically as their filming the movie, scripts get re-written over and over again, and there is still 8 months left before the movie comes out, nobody - not even them, knows what's going to happen at this point...

and thast last point you made is EXACTLY why they will have VERY difficult time pulling off the Will/Liz thing in the 3rd movie...this is why I doubt it......and where are these "confirmations"

Exactly.......and there is nothing in writing forom anyone with authority that is involved with the movie that has comfirmed anything - exept the possibility of more movies after the third....buit that really has nothing to do with anything right now...in regards to the third....

maybe we think she wants will..and movie 4..they decide not to be together

I think everyone is being tricked into thinking that Jack is completley incapable of loving a person on a long term basis...but in the end..we are going to be surprised by what he can actually do when it comes to loving a person

I honestly think that he is going to deny immortality from Calypso to save Elizabeth or to go back to her.

THAT would be the moment that seals the deal..Jack willing to give up immortality for a woman???..he was willing to give up his pearl for her so maybe this is what we will see happen later but on a much more amazing scale.

I was thinking about that the other day--- how likely it would be that IF will and liz got married, Jack would be the one to marry them, AND aboard his ship, to tie in his whole "marriage" quip from 2. i can totally picture that. Jack is so hott. gosh. what the heck.

You know what..All of these people are reading the draft script for AWE and are taking it so literally..all the dialogue and everything..even though the directors have said its been changed since then The script for movie 2 was finalized BEFORE that script was..so the themes may have been changed..and they just didn't get round to changing them in that draft script before it got leaked

Honestly I will say something that is obvious in movie 2..Like the compass pointing to Jack for lust..and the fact she went in to kiss him again before she left meaning that it cant be over between them..and they will completely ignore it because its not what the AWE draft script says..THAT IS THE OLD version of the story..why can they not pick up on this??

Also the norrington picking up on whats really going on..

they said that they started to film the 3rd one without an script, so maybe they're going to change it many times.

in the first film, they had a billion drafts. In one of the drafts, liz was on her way to england to marry someone THERE, in one draft, Norrington teamed up with Barbossa, in one draft, Jack and Liz got a bit more frisky on the island. seriously. when they re-write drafts, they don't mean they are taking out a comma. It means they are re-writing like the whole flipping story, ya know?

AND you guys have made brilliant comments about no one knowing about the kiss at the end of 2... not even orlando. You can bet disney is going to guard the REAL ending to 3 like the Holy Grail.

aint that the truth............ with all of the video's poofing into cyberspace. I'd say we're right on target about the jack/liz pairing. why would they remove them, if it wasnt the 2 of them together in the end?

I'm gonna walk out of the theatre if will and liz end up together, I'll even request my money back. The first draft had Han Solo as a green alien and Luke and Leia as midgets. There is constant revision. From the sound of it, they haven't even started filming. I'm still willing to put faith in LoveyOne's theories, and in the hearts of all of us. We know what we want and damned if we don't get it.

Honestly, IMO, if they really intend to do a will/liz thing, and have meant to since the beginning, then they made a big fat mistake with 2.
I remember all my first impressions seeing one: i identified with Liz's character, wanting to be a pirate and have adventures. I didn't care much about Will, cause he was Disney's traditonal "poor boy wants rich girl and goes to all lengths to get her", and he was rather better looking than he was in Lord of the Rings, and Jack? I thought Jack was great and very funny, but I didn't honestly really understand his character until 2. I never would have pictured liz and jack together if they hadn't made two, but when they DID make 2, I could no longer picture liz and will together.
Maybe its just an actor thing for me. Kiera seems so much more mature as an actress than Orlando... more on par with Johnny. They are both brilliant, subtle, hilarious, and intense. Orlando is pretty one-dimensional. I hate it when brilliant actors have to play opposite mediocre actors, so naturally i picture Kiera acting with Johnny.

If they do stick liz and will together, i dont think it will be a picket fence ending either. I think Will will have turned full pirate.

But like I said in my post a minute ago, Disney is going to guard that ending and NO ONE can acurately predict anything till they see the flipping movie.

disney should know as well as the producer, director, and writers that this scond movie got to the top i mean literally. It was the biggest movie of this year. i think what hit the most was the liz jack scenes especially at the end with the kiss. They cannot risk having the 3rd movie lower than the 2nd-what i mean is the raitngs. it wouldnt make sense and it would be aweful if started with cotbp high dmc higher then worlds end down..that would be stupid-they cannot risk that by adding an ending of jack on the pearl back to himself with the crew like at the beginning. WASTE OF MONEY WASTE OF TIME WASTE OF WRTING WASTE OF PAPER, PEN, PENCIL, in writing all those liz/jack momments. WAKE UP DISNEY!

I had a thought (everyone run) about this wedding deal. Now, a wedding between Will and Liz would close their adventures in a fancy, very loud and exciting way, right? It would be the happily ever after. The writers wouldn't want to let people know that would happen. If we're supposed to cheer for Will and Liz, they'll lead us to believe she will choose Jack.
But what if in the three's adventures in this third one, they have to "put on a show" for lack of a better phrase. Jack might marry them, but it may not be Liz choosing Will. You see? They might do it to convince someone that's what's going on. There could be any number of reasons.
Of course the obvious one would be that they do go back to each other, but they know they had a good thing going with Jack and Liz. They won't just dismiss it and pretend it didn't happen.

yeah...all I know who have seen this film of my friends said, it's hotter, better and just perfect (liz/jack) and I think why should they have created all the tension between them, just to throw it away in the 3rd??? No...I don't think so...

I mean they have done even a little thrill with jack /liz on the island in part 1...and I thought they'll make more out of it. (one of my friends said: why did you knew that? It was never clear in part one -> STUPID!!!)

I honestly think..all we need to do is..Watch what he does with the key....and Only up until the part where he gets the heart and puts it close to his...and then what we see with the key/empty chest next is quite clear.."NO MAN was the right key to her heart except JACK" will looks at the empty chest..Norrie does...so does davy..

As he follows the key..he learns from his mistakes..he needs to learn from his mistakes to become the better man for Liz?..he took the key rather unfairly from norrie and will..so as soon as he gets it he falls into a grave..he then gets pulled out...(purgatory)

Movie 3:
he then loses it and it gets hooked on something..I think this is where he puts her on Sao Fengs ship he treats her as leverage here..he thinks he's all smart and that he's gonna see her again..as he runs in the wheel he's all smiling thinking he's gonna get it back but WHAM..he gets some sense knocked into him! This is where Liz is kidnapped from Sao Feng's ship and Jack realizes?..So its like "YOU IDIOT!" he gets up and THIS time he knows to avoid the bar (stop threatening her as leverage)..then there is a big fight over it in the middle of the wheel (I think)..jack is the Only one without a sword..(I think)..then will basically stabs it on the end of his sword.and Jack rescues it from him..he hangs up high (offered immortality?????),,but then falls down (No he wants to save Liz because he loves her)..then he has the key round his neck..and mr bad man gets knocked out..(Will forgets about Liz and Jack forever? thinking of Circe the witch/Tia (odyssey) offering to do this) The Only 2 people who don't drink Tia's "drink to ease the pain of remembering Jack" are Jack himself..and LIZ..in the Odyssey Circe the witch would hand out drinks in her house to people to make their forget their pasts..(all symbolic me thinks)..Odysseus and Eurylocus were the only 2 not to drink the drink..Odysseus was absent from the scene,,and Eurylocus did not drink..he ran back to Odysseus

there is a whole Odyssey resemblance as you can tell Odysseus turned down immortality so that he could save Penelope...don't even get me started on how similar she is to Liz.

We have to watch POTC 1 every single night when we go to bed and he doesn't even call it POTC, he'll say, "we're going to watch Jack tonight." I bet I've seen the beginning of POTC 1 like a million times...we fall asleep and I don't see as much of the rest...his favorite parts from POTC 1 and when Jack and Will are sword fighting and he tells will "you need to find yourself a girl, mate." you guys cant go and get ahead of yourself, they may make a jack/liz ending yet, all the clues in there couldnt have been for nothing, could they??? we all just need to calm down and see what happens next, i mean, so orlando hinted there was chemistry between will and liz, so we've known that since the first movie, but the chemistry may just be changing from lovers to a friend type, i mean, they've been friends since they were twelve, there's obviously going to be chemistry there.

They are trying to put us down bc we seem to be punching them right in the kisser with accurate facts and awesome theories by awesome ppl. and so the way to put our heads down they try to give us bull shit make up scripts and trying to put us down. but we always fight back so thats why i think its important to keep our heds held up high and be positive!!

seriously, we have found out that so much crap was made up, like the first trailor script, etc... so we should all just keep in mind we wont know anything.

Aw, I understand you sailor. Norrie is such a decent guy in the first movie. He genuinely cares about Liz, at least enough to put her happiness before his. He wanted to earn her love, not just a wife.

I decided to stop posting over on KttC..some people on there really dont like me..I seem to be upsetting the site so I just said I'm gonna go..cuz the J/E thread was gonna be closed...cuz I was ranting yesterday.and knowing me I'd probably would have overstepped the line again..its like you cant breathe over there..one person said I was Stand - up by saying I was leaving..as if I was trying to make people feel sorry for me?? Why would I do that??..I just dont wanna have it on my head if a J/E shiper thread gets closed lol..some people over there really do know how to make you feel like an annoying outcast on the site lol

Q: Will there ever be a sequel to "The 10th Kingdom"?
A: Only Mr. Moore himself can answer that without reservation or risk of rumor.

Both Warwick Davis and Scott Cohen boasted that Simon had approached them with the idea of resuming their original roles in "The 10th Kingdom". Both of course expressed enthusiasm over the idea. So obviously a sequel was and still is of great consideration.

Greetings From The Forest...

Hi everybody, and a very, very happy New year. I am writing this from a hotel room in New Zealand, where I am currently writing an animation film called Jumbo Jet, about a group of elephants who set up a low budget airline. It is as mad as the idea sounds, but it is lots of fun. I have also sold a big Xmas film to Sony Pictures, which I hope will start shooting this year. It is called The Star, and tells the nativity story from the point of view of the animals. Life is good but very busy. Being in New Zealand, surrounded by the magical landscapes (used as locations in many fantasy films, as you know) I am of course reminded of the 10th Kingdom, and what an amazing time we all had making that series in the spectacular settings in Europe.

I moved this year from London to Los Angeles, and I now live in a big wooden house in the canyons above Beverly Hills, where the deer come to the edge of my garden, and each night packs of coyotes howl for miles around. That also makes me think of a certain Mr Warren Wolfson, and sends my mind back to that strange and wonderful world through the mirrors.

Most of you know that a second series of 10th Kingdom is something I would love to do, but we will all have to wait until the time is right and the opportunity presents itself. I have no more news on the subject, but if it is meant to happen, then one day it will...

In the meantime, however, I thought you might all like to know a little bit more about my plans for series 2. Now this story of course is not written yet, and it may change in many ways when and if I do write it, but I thought I'd give a little teaser of some of my ideas to you, my wonderful and loyal fans.

The second adventure will be called 'House of Wolves' , and take us primarily into the wooded world of Red Riding Hood's Kingdom, where schoolgirls in long, crimson caped uniforms are trained to deliver secret messages throughout the kingdoms, risking their lives to travel through the dark, dangerous forests.

The story begins in New York, some time after our previous adventure finished. Wolf and Virginia have opened their restaurant, which serves only meat of course, and only rare meat at that! Virginia is very pregnant with Wolf's baby, and is getting concerned because she has been pregnant for much, much longer than is usual... Wolf says this is a sure sign that the baby will be a magic baby.

When Virginia does finally give birth, it is to a furry baby wolf cub!!! Wolf is thrilled, but Virginia is most certainly not, and doesn't like the strange looks she gets when she wheels a little wolf cub around Manhattan in a pram. She is very upset and says she wants a human baby. Wolf promises to return to the Kingdoms with her and see if there is some magic spell that will turn their baby into human form. Indeed, perhaps someone has bewitched their baby... but who would do a thing like that?!

They travel to Red Riding Hood's Kingdom, where wolves are demonized and forced to live in hidden underground villages deep in the forest. Wolf is shocked to see that girls at the Riding Hood Academy For Young Ladies are taught the most appalling, prejudiced ideas about wolves, and he decides to enroll as a teacher (without telling anyone that he is a Wolf, of course) to put the record straight. As you can imagine, a Wolf at a girls boarding school causes quite a few problems...

So many other things happen in our story, including Wolf discovering that his parents were not burned to death as he believed, but still alive! The story also features the magical, woodland full moon marriage of Wolf and Virginia! Old friends will return... some as small as an Acorn... And there will be many surprises - such as the fact that the new Troll National Anthem sounds very much like a Bee Gees song... Oh and one thing I can certainly promise - there will be magic aplenty! Magic everywhere, in all it's wondrous forms. And there will be romance and hope and danger and adventures to take your breath away! And -

But, alas, that's all I have time for now. I would love to hear what you think of these ideas, and also tell me what you would like to see in a second series. I would be very interested to hear all your thoughts in the next few issues of the Newsletter.

The 'T10K' fan base is still very active and holds much hope that 'Book 2' will someday be produced. Always keeping in mind that it took 12 years to bring us the magical original epic adventure that it is today. Certainly we do not expect Simon to sacrifice quality in the name of a sequel.

okay guys, i was just sort of thinking about all the "spoilers" we have gotten so far (and i still have not read the script thats out) but all of them seem to hint at a will/liz ending and we have had a heck of a time trying to understand why they are being so obvious, what they are trying to say.... etc....

and something i read very early on about AWE, a think it was a release from Ted and Terry or maybe Gore right after DMC came out, was something alone the lines of "the third film takes everything to a new level... betrayal is happening all over the place, and nothing is at it seems."

i think that line is key- nothing is as it seems-.

perhaps that was their hint to us that as "spoilers" are released, we need to keep in mind that nothing is as it seems... what is happening in the movie, what the characters are saying, is not alwas indicative of what they are feeling. what happens at the beginning will not mean it continues to the end. that sort of thing.

we have realized now that Disney might be trying to lie to us a bit..ya know ..pull the wool over our eyes..they are talking about EVERYTHING in the next film...except Jack/Liz..there is basically zilch info coming out about these two despite her being with Jack throughout most of movie 3..they just wont talk about those scenes ..the only one they have mentioned is the keith Richards/Jack/Liz scene..and thats because they have to talk about that one really..cuz its keithy boy..

and what you think about the trailer then? I mean if they don't want to give something away then they can't put it in or?

Didn't we learn the trailer was a fake? A rumor?

yeah i think both trailor scripts we have seen are fake.

plus, they are good at doing trailers. remember the one for 2? there was a split second subliminal image of the curiosity scene, but for the most part, there was NO HINT of where the Jack/Liz deal was going. they gave lots of good teaser images, but most of them were way out of context and some of the clips weren't even in the film.

so when the trailer does come out, i dont think it will help us with the ending at all... LOL...

but it will definately make us all go crazy.

that's what I think too cause remember in the trailer when tia says "you will have to sail to the end of the eart and beyond to find it..."? and it turns out not to be about the chest?lol and the parts with davy jones talking that weren't in the movie? they will make us more confused but they WILL make us all go crazy.....

Maybe Liz's focus will be getting Will back. Back from where is my question. DJ purgatory with his pirate father, or back as in a love relationship with her. IMO Liz will recognize Will as selfish and self-serving and only want him as a friend. T & T said in COTBP that you identify with Will and Liz in the first scene because they are children and you want to know how they develop together. I still think they will just be friends.

the draft script has been confirmed though by ted elliot (wikipedia.com)..the draft script for PotC 1 was pretty sloppy in palces just like that one..and some of the main themes on that script were completley missing in the first movie. So yeah the crappyness you see there probably wont be in there..but some of the basic "broarder strokes" are linked in with what happens..not the dialogue or anything..

i ddont believe very much on the trailer. i think is just simply made up.
by the way on the suppose 56 page scrip-well its a rough draft its obvious. its brainstorming really. obviously there has to be some things edited bc some wont make sense like jacks/liz relationship.
