Funny. This matchup has never been talked about.

Here's a quick refresher.

Are they fighting outside or inside Mephisto realm.. Outside i say Darkseid take majority of the fight, Inside its curbstomp against Darkseid..

We'll say a neutral ground, just to be fair.

Mephisto isn't unbeatable in his own realm, anyway. He's had to concede defeat to Galactus, and the team of Dr. Strange & Dr. Doom there.

Don't forget Adam Warlock


And out of his realm he got his ass punked by Black Panther

Yeah he was defeated also buy his son, Dr. Strange and Doom but all of em possess or trained in the ways of arcane magic.. Darkseid as far as i know posses none of those skills and abilities bare in mind i am referring to this fight inside Mephistos realm no pis..

in his realm mephitso wins, outside of his realm he gets pummeled

It doesn't matter to Mephisto's powerset if he is in his realm or not. He can call on legions to aid him more quickly, is all I think. Just like if Darkseid is on Apokolips.

The only way Mephisto should be beaten in his own realm is to destroy it with him or Magical force stonger than his own realm.. Should thats the key..

Warlock had the Soul Gem when he punked Mephisto, it made a difference.

As far as im concerned he should be unbeatable in there.. But i quess its not the case.. Im going though some appearances right now and some can even mask there own self in there not to be detected by Mephisto..

Wow thats pis, since he can teleport out of there into his own realm or behind Black Panther.. Obviously hes got something plan for BP in the future thats how he usually work..

Huh. Interesting, but treads the edges of believability. Dr. Doom couldn't come up with tech good enough to contain Mephisto - even if it was only for 8 seconds.
