Best Bond of all time: Roger Moore. Nobody touches this womanizer--NOBODY. The worst Bond of all time.....I'm tempted to say that even George Lazenby was better than Timothy Dalton. The movies had potential, the Bond was a horrible pick. This new guy.....I don't know if he has what it takes. I would have rather seen Billy Zane in the new role honestly. Pierce Brosnan hit every aspect of the role, but the movies just sucked after Goldeneye--ESPECIALLY Die Another Day, what a P.O.S.

Mr Parker
I agree with you that Roger Moore was the best Bond of them all however I think Pierce Brosnan was by far easily the worst Bond ever, maybe worse than Lazenby even.No charm,no charisma, and did an absolute horrible job of delivering his lines.Thank god hollywood wised up and got rid of him.I didnt care for dalton much either but I'll take him over Brosnan anyday of the year though. as far as best bond movie? cant really say,I love all the Connery/Moore Bond films except for a view to a kill, that one wasnt a very good one to go out on for Moore for his swan song.the bond franchise should have ended for sure after moore retired, none of the other Bond actors since then have been anywhere near as good as Moore or even sean connery.

oh since your kinda new and everything, you might want to make a thread in the welcome section and introduce yourself to everybody. smile

bakerboy
For me, best bond is Sean Connery and worst bond is George Lazenby.

I don't think theres such a thing as a "Worst James Bond". Every actor has brought something unique and challenging to the role and I bet Iain Fleming would have approved them all.

Yeah, but I hapen to like every movie on the list. Even On Her Majesty.... was fun.

Sodo
Brosnan was my favorite Bond by far, Moore in a close second.

I didn't like Dalton at all, but I don't have a "Worst" Bond.

The best film was definitely Goldeneye, Man with a Golden Gun in second, and Casino Royale 2006 in third.

Darth Martin
Just saw Man with the Golden Gun for the first time last night. Pretty tight. Not alot of gadgets but plenty of action and a great plot. Mr.Scaramaga was a great villain and one of my favs in the series. Superb acting by Roger Moore and Christopher Lee.

Rampant ox
* big grin 's in regards to above two posts.*

EDIT: Francisco Scaramanga is the best villain. Period.

Strangelove
I haven't watched all of the Bond movies,so I can't give an honest opinion on all 20, but just for shits and giggles, here's Enterainment Weekly's take:

LORDSIDIOUS01
I have watched on the Bond movies except Daniel Craig. I must say that the best Roger Moore Bond is For Your Eyes Only. The best Sean Connery Bond is Never Say Never Again. The best Pierce Brosnan Bond is Goldeneye. Please debate me on this.

"Never Say Never Again" was, in my opinion, a terrible remake of "Thunderball". As a movie it was okay; but compared to "Thunderball" it was terrible. There's no debate about "Goldeneye." Thoughts?

Thats easy. Just watch that old tv show remington steel that he was on and you'll see he acts EXACTLY like he did on that show.no different at all.Its like he still thought he was still on that show or something. laughing at least with Moore when you watch that old tv show the saint and the bond movies he is not still acting like he is still on the show the saint or forgot that he left that show. laughing

Faulty logic at best.

I don't like Kevin Spacey's performance in American Beauty because it was remotely comparable to his performance is L.A. Confidential. no expression

From Russia with Love is my favorite.

many people described sean connery as the ultimate bond but ian flemming described him as unrefined. BTW roger moore is too old but i rank him 2nd to sean connery

Pierce Brosnan is my favorite Bond, and Goldeneye was definitely the best one I've seen.

Daniel Craig though was very, very good in Casino Royale, which is my second favorite Bond movie.

Really? I had no idea that Fleming said that. Indeed, one quote that I've heard attributed to Fleming was something like: "I never pictured Sean Connery as James Bond when I wrote the books; but if I were to write them all over again, I would", which seems to me to be fairly complementary.

But then again Fleming never lived to see what Connery had become.

Though I know that Fleming was reportedly unhappy with the film of "Dr. no", I was under the impression that he rather liked "FRWL" (the last Bond movie that he saw before his death); perhaps this explains Fleming's apparent change in attitude towards Connery, which is highlighted by the two quotes above?

Spartan005
This is tough... my favorite Bond is probably Pierce Brosnan, mainly because the first movie I saw was Goldeneye. Daniel Craig was awesome too however Casino Royale needed a bit more action IMO. My favorite Bond movie is probably tied between Goldeneye, The World is Not Enough and The Spy Who Loved Me.

ADarksideJedi
I w ould say all of them are pretty bad!(Gets ready to ran before killed)jm
