In essence, Reed used their own powers against them, with help from the canon ofcourse.

Reed was the first being to discover the Negative Zone.

Reed was the first being to figure how to travel to the Micro-verse.

Reed built a spacesuit in one day that allowed the Human Torch to travel to ends of the Multi-verse, in search of the UN during the Abraxas arc.

Just think about it.
Doom could just go to a point in time and kill their ancestors.
Unless both Bats and Reed uses a time altering device then this is a no contest match. I don't care if Reed builds a machine that can destroy the One Above All.
