Me and a buddy have been debating on which is better. what do you guys think?

Metal Gear Solid 3 wins by a mile, better story better gameplay better characters!

RE4 > MGS3 in the big scheme of things. RE4 redefined survival horror and refreshed RE's formula making RE a big name once again. MGS3 wasn't quite an impact when compared to RE4 nor MGS and MGS2.

I love MGS3 though.

Who cares about redefining Resident Evil as a big name again?

MGS3 is a better game by FAR.

MGS3 shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as Resident Evil 4!!!

Resi 4 is by far the more superior game in so many ways and fashions!!

MGS fans are deluding themselves if they truly believe MGS3 is a better game
