Dino Crisis: Extinction Evolved

Through the militaries newest founding, covered up by the FBI, they have unleashed something dire... dinosaurs. Carnivores, Herbivores and omnivores, they're on the island.

Due to several cases of disappearances and other tragedies near the island, the president has agreed to send a specially trained combat forces in a desperate attempt to exterminate the prehistoric beasts.

The team of the men and women have a goal that many would see as plain suicide. Thousands of man eating beasts roam the Island. From Tyrannosaurus Rex to the smaller flesh eating raptors, the team has more than their share of dangers cut out for them.

Almost every Jurassic dinosaur is there, and the specially trained squad has been trained in almost every class to pull the job off.

Background: Travis Morton was born in Lubbock, Tx into a military family. In 1980 his younger brother, Dylan Morton, was born. In 1988 Travis joined the Navy, and a year later he became a Seal.
Travis served through Desert Storm and Kosovo, but left the Navy as a Captain in 2001 to pursue a career in Paleontology. Dr. Travis Morton became a well respected expert in the field and in 2010, was summoned to the Pentagon. Months later Travis returned home to his Texas Ranch, but had three scars on the left side of his face. As of January 2011 Dr. Morton is in Grand County, Utah, digging up a pack of Utahraptors in the Cedar Mountain Formation.

Yeah, most predators, even today, use their olfactory senses more often than sight. Don't believe what you saw in Jurassic Park. Stand still all you want, It just means the T-Rex won't have dinner to go.

Actually... (not trying to be a smart ass) But I completely disagree with that. I remember a while ago when there was a big deal about the whole standing still deal with the T-rex. People were saying that was false, BUT. In my experience with Reptiles, especially larger ones, they do rely greatly on sight. Reptiles rarely eat something that's standing completely still. Unless they eat plants. They wait patiently for the simplest signs of movement before they strike. Their eye sight is rather poor, so it's very difficult for them to home in on something standing completely still. Even with their other senses.

You dont have to believe me, but trust me, I know my reptiles

Bio: Rayne was born in southern California. For as long as she can remember she's had knack with animals, especially reptiles. Her first job was at a Gator park, working with crocodiles and other large reptiles when she was only 14. There wasn't a single animal that was too tough for her to handle. Unfortunaly when she turned 16 her family ran into some financial problems, and being illegal immigrates, were faced with a serious problem. Rayne's job just wasn't cutting it, so she turned to the military, and found her place in the united states Navy. Her sheer determination and tough as nails attitude helped her climb the ranks. She was always high spirited, and never let any one tell her she couldn't do something. Even though she was a woman and most of the men looked down on her, she soon found a way around that, and in a few short years outranked most of them.

Biography: When flying over the island the plane was having problems and started moving out of control. When Eric woke up he was on the top floor( First class) And was bleeding badly out of his head. He found that every one was dead and quickly coped with the fact that he was the only one that survived. He found a security guard dead on the ground, He searched him and found a confiscated jack knife, and a GOV regulated pistol with a full clip. He sat thinking and realised that there must be a hole in the bottom hall and if he could get to it he may get out. His hopes sank when he thought that he was thousands of feet in the water. He remembered a old woman that had a oxygen tank. If he could get it he may be able to use it to shoot out of the water. He found it and removed the tube that was controlling the oxy flow and ripped it. When he made it down he found the hole and twisted the oxy tank all the way and shot out of the water like a bottle rocket. After swimming for several hours he found the Island and made camp.

( He has been on the island for 4 years so he knows the land and the creatures well. Hes a great survivor and hunter.)

As a matter of fact, they DID swim in Dino Crisis 2. While being chased and attempting to fight the T-Rex at the factory, run to the river, which is close to the docks. climb down into the dried river and run upwards, and you'll be on a walkway above water. If unfortunate enough, the T-Rex that had given chase will spring out of the water and chomp you to nothing.

EDIT: And also when in the underwater thing.. JEt i'd call it, the T-Rex may also chase you there, in dino crisis 2
