Thought this would be a very interesting fight...

Could the "coolest" mutant of all time take down the JLA's Manhunter from Mars????

Both combatants are giving it their all....NO HOLDING BACK....with their sights set on killing the other.

The fight takes place in and around the Himalayan Mountains....

If it wasn't for MM's telepathy, they would probably outmaneuver each other for weeks.

MM IS AS STRONGE AS SUPERMAN ICEMAN IS NOT EVEN CLOSE PLUS MM HAS HEAT/MARTIAN VISION IN THE SAME LEAGUE AS SUPES THIS IS NOT EVEN CLOSE

MM. Iceman doesn't really have a chance here.

We are STILL unsure of whether telepathy works on a disembodied consciousness such as Iceman.

If it DOES, then Manhunter 10/10.

If not? Iceman wins.

That's what I was wondering about too......can anyone clarify this for us???

Iceman's consciousness can be present any and everywhere in the area. Martian Manhunter may possibly not even be able to get a fix on where Icemans conscious is actually. It depends.

MM has scanned the entire Earth in mere moments. He'll find Bobby. Especially since he's the only mind in the battlefield....

While MM is scanning the area looking for Bobby's consciousness, couldn't Iceman freeze his brain and kill him?

Hasn't Bobby been hurt by telepathy before?

I'm inclined to give the majority to J'onn. I see no reason why a telepathic assault couldn't do any thing. It's not like he starts out with his mind spread all over the place.

Not if he's intangible. MM also has the talent of shapeshifting his physical composition to adapt to any circumstance that arises. Except ironically fire....

MM once divided his brain into six different sentries and spread them out across the globe while he was battling his brother Malefic.

Jean Grey once wasnt able to sense Bobbys conscious. IF there is some delay in MM finding it, that alone may improve Icemans chances of victory here.

Jean Grey isn't in MM's league though (pre-Phoenix anyway....) She needs the likes of Cerebro to routinely scan the Earth or the Galaxy like MM does on a regular basis.

For some odd reason, MM phases out of his dimension leaving a spectre of himself behind. I don't know HOW though.....

He's not like Shadowcat or Vision.

Fire attacks are not going to work on MM again not after trial of fire. Mm is not afraid of fire anymore. recently in superman/batman another shapeshifter went around pretending to be mm but he was afraid of fire but when MM came around batman used a fire attack on him and he told bruce u better have a good reason for trying that and bruce reply I wanted to see if it were really you than mm said next time just ask

If anywhing, the MM can speedblitz/mindrape Bobby before he goes envioremental. Iceman has no supernatural speed, he wont take anyone faster who can chump him (note that the chumping part is not that easy).

Mindrape before Bobby ices up? (Which is dumb, if we are pitting them against each other, he should start in Ice form. It's not like we'd have a colossus thread where Colossus doesn't START armored...anyways...moving on

Speedblitz? Impossible. Bobby was blown up while he was in human form, and it was shown that his conscious (POST explosion) went into ice form. A speedblitz isn't cutting it.

Mind rape MIGHT.

Without Tp, I don't see how they can hurt each other. MM has complete control over every molecule in his body. Ice man isn't going to override that with his freezing techniques. And MM does not have any matter manip that he can use to beat bobby. Bobby is kinda a one trick pony. If you don't have some kind of energy or matter manip, or tp, you aren't beating Iceman.

Has MM done anything like impreson or harming a consciousness on panel before? Am not too familiar w/ him..
