Mar-Vell was not a high level cosmic, he had the Nega bands which gave him flight, energy blasts and about Class 10 durability and strength. He was so formidable because he was skilled and experienced. That's how he hanged against threats stronger then himself. However, Namor is also skilled, and as fast as Mar-Vell.

IMO, it's not that clear-cut. I'd say 6/10 to Mar-Vell, though. He has that handy cosmic awareness and probably a bit higher speed. If Namor gets his hands on him though, he is a goner, Namor already put him down in two shots.

Mar-vell was class 15 strength WITH the Nega Bands.
Namor is a lot stronger than Mar-vell was.
One of the main reasons Captain Mar-vell was able to hang with
and defeat people WAY more powerful was his Cosmic Awareness!
Kinda like a "spider-sense" on a cosmic scale!!!
He always instinctively knew exactly what to do at the right time!!!
That's why he was so tough and successful!!!
He was instrumental in defeating Thanos like this.

In H2H, Namor way outclasses him in strength, but with all of
Mar-vell's abilities....I'd have to give the good Captain the majority.

Why? I think it's a pretty good matchup.

Mar-vell take this. His base strength may have only been around 15 tons, but he was able to use the nega bands to amp up his strength enough to manhandle Drax, so he should be able to match Namor easy enough(not to mention the fact that he was able to take on Thanos, and fared far better than Thor).
