So at best, Raiden is gonna power up Magneto?

Lightning only powers Magneto up, so Mags is the obvious choice.

No not at first, magic doesn't work on Onaga (Isn't Raidens lightning magic?) besides Raiden resurrected after that fight. Hmm are people able to teleport through Mags shield? If so...

No its magic and special ability's that don't work on Onaga, he's immune to them... and Onaga did not kill Raiden. Raiden conjured a mystic ball of energy that he used hoping to kill Onaga... but that didn't work now did it.
