Wolverine and Superman are the first two in Dr. Doom and Lex's plot to steal all the powers form the heroes making them human and eventually absorb the powers into themselves. Wolverine is furious and convinced the only way to stop them is by killing them both. The only one standing in his way is a now human Kal-El. Neither is backing down from this fight and no one can come to help before its settled.

Who takes this?

Even without the healing factor, he still has the claws and is a far superior fighter to Supes. And if this is pre-Magnus ripping his adamantium skeleton out, Supes is ****ed.

It takes weeks if not months for Wolverine to die of Adamantium poisoning...

wolverine in no way has the size advantage. without adamantium, supe's has about eleven inches and thirty pounds on the little fella.

that being said, wolverine's profound skill advantage nets him the majority.

If both are human with no powers at all, Logan's training as a samurai, ninja and assassin (plus his other skills he's gathered over the years) puts lil Clarky in a grave in smallville.

I really hate debating FOR superman but, to be far isn't Clark spouts to know several different forms of Kryptonian martial arts???

Wolverine beats Superman, as long as they are both stripped of all their powers, that's no big feat.

Pitt a powerless Wolverine against Bruce Wayne, and you'll have a much better debate.

Clark has had a lot of combat training himself from the likes of Wonder Woman, Batman, mongul and the DCU version of Thor just for an example, Logan even with his bone claw only claws I'll still given the edge to here, but bare in mind that Kent on top of what I've mentioned have some knowledge of Krytonian related martial arts.

My point being he doesn't have that strength anymore...OR is still of a weight that Wolverine, with his superhuman strength, can lift around.

Tossing someone is a pretty standard feat in comics, strength-wise; safe to say Clark weighs less than armored Red, too (obviously).

Wolverine's got plenty of feats in a depowered state, including strength feats, such as using Hand ninjas as human clubs against their companions (who were struggling to keep him restrained with chains):

Adamantium-less, healing factor still messed up from Fatal Attractions.

You could argue how you can't "humanize" him completely... but that cannot be properly done to a certain alien immigrant, either Although it's much easier in his case.
