Ok heres a scan of Shang Chi beating up trolls from Asagard. Obvously these trolls will have superhuman stats. Bare in mind Black Widow was hitting these critters with her widow bite and they were just shrugging them off.

Shang Chi vs Iron Fist. Ok both of them are holding back...but bare in mind in one part of the fight Iron Fist lunges at Shang Chi for real using his Iron Fist punch and Shang manages to dodge it.

Shang Chi vs Ghostmaker Ghostmaker has beaten DD in combat. Notice how Ghostmaker uses blades to fight Shang but was still losing, Ghostmaker then resorts to using a bomb.

Does this count as a win for Chi since Logan was about to fall backwards? I mean, Chi grabbed him but Logan could have caught himself...I dunno what to think about this fight...

Nah man. Wolverine didnt look he was able to save himself. He would have survived the fall but theres no proof he wouldnt have fallen from building. I mean Wolverine had an "Oh shit look on his face".

At the very least he might have been able to stick his claws into the building and climb up but its still a win for Shang via BFR

actaully it would not have been a bfr, logan easily could have gotten back by his own power. however shang-chi did out fight him in a senses.

Shang-Chi fought Wolverine to a standstill in Wolverine First Class #9. In fact, Shang actually seemed to have the advantage at certain points. I know in an old issue of X-Men (in fact, the same one where he demonstrated his uncanny "detection" abilities a few posts up) they had Wolverine take him out pretty quickly, but this at least affirms that they're potentially on par.

In Civil war: Heroes for hire, Paladin with prep time beat Luke, Coleen, Misty. Than he went for Cap and Beat Him. But Shang chi eventually took out Paladin 1 on 1

Look down the forums. Paladin went all hell on the Heroes for Hire, Cap and Luke, but we see Shang Chi took him out.

Cap liked Shangs plan as Shang asked Cap if he trusted him. As Cap held his breath as he later explained it to the Black Cat.
The plan wasn't discussed but its obvious Cap played possum as a major distraction so Shang could take advantage of Paladin(his whole intention was just capturing Cap as Shang stated it) and then Cap and Paladin switched uniforms.

Shang can make pretty good plans for sure.

Yes but when you lose you can't continuously hold your breath as he later conveyed to part of the fight. Read the whole book not just the fight scenes. Miss knight asked Cap....you switched thats impossible the gas.

And the Cap answered.......I held my breath. Implying he was never out cold to begin with as seen here. You can't be out cold and holding your breath at the same time.

I read the whole book... but i don't see that Cap losing was part of the plan. Cos that defies logic. Another think i have to point out was Paladin throwing Coleen Shang-chi's way. He kept his breathe still. I think we vary in opinion. But those were sweet moves on Paladin.

Like I said you can't hold your breath and be out at the same time. Unless you can prove other wise by a statement in the book we have books statement and we have yours. I'll go by the books evidence.

Its true that's why Cap stated he held his breath. Shang giving him something to use to breath since there is gas helps more since Cap was as he stated, "I held by breath."

He held his breath. Evidence 1.....you none. I must say if the writer had not had Cap say that.......then you would be right but thats not the case here.

Heck I don't mind Cap losing John Steele recently defeated Cap straight up in Secret Avengers. But Paladin did not.
