Classic thor, as in NOT RKT

god like cable.

I go for Thor. I mean Surfer didn't seem to be pushed to the limit when he fought Cable. I know all the stuff Cable was doing with his powers at the time, but I still don't see the fight going differently if you switch Surfer for Thor.

Yah, Thor.

Cable's pretty sweet at potential, but Thor's on a little bit higher level overall.

I think it will be a hard fought battle either way. i lean toward cable because he's one of my favorate heros. It will depend on if thor is going to be affect by tp, I've heard both sides and i'm not convinced either way. Soooo 5 out of 5 if tp doesn't affect thor

I'm a Cable fanboy but I'll give this to Thor....

I don't forsee Cable winning the fight against Thor however Cable's powers allowed him to do things Thor has never been able to do

Thor wins he is to powerful offensively for Cable.

Cable is great. And I for one think, much happened within the Surfer vs. Cable match.
But in the end, he would lose steam and Thor would overpower him if not burn himself out attempting to match Thor.

Know if this was the true classic Thor, ware Thor has a time limit in his Godly form.
Jesus Cable might have a better chance 3 maybe 4 out of 10.

I dunno. For one thing, the Surfer's blasts have been depicted as more powerful than Thor's.

I've also never seen Thor 'shut off' an X-Gene the way the Surfer did. I'd say it'd be close than that.

Since when? They've had two head two head match up's and in both Thor didn't do much blasting.

That maybe because he doesn't have the ability to do so.

So your point was to speculate? Because Thor wasn't shown unnecessarily blasting in head to head matches doesn't necessarily mean that Surfers blast are superior. It simply means each character go's about battling in different manners.

I didn't. I responded to Thor's inability to shut off Cable's X-gene in the same way the Surfer did. No speculation needed.

Yea but with the TP Cable has in "god like" and the TK he has, he shouldn't have or I wouldn't think have much trouble keeping Thor a pretty good distance away from him without much effort.

Cable may have been "Godlike" but Thor is an actual God. Surfer destroyed him in those scans. One cosmic eye blast > Godlike Cable.

Thor 10/10

Thor is about as much of a God as Cable is, in other words, not much of one at all, considering many people overpower Thor who are not Gods, so having the title of being a God means about as much as the food stuck between my teeth.

As for this battle, Cable beats Thor. Godlike Cable struggled against Surfer because 90% of his energy was focused on keeping his city together and he fought Surfer with only a minute fraction of his power, yet still crushed his surfboard.

Godlike Cable with 100% focus will beat Thor so bad even great Odin will be ashamed to have Thor as a son. Cable can TP and TK Thor into oblivion.

I am voting for Cable for he is one of my favorite comic book characters. Plus too many people underestimate the capabilities of Cable for he did break SS board which completely gets my respect. A lot of people put too much credit on Thor with all his magical powers. For if Cable's powers don't win out against Thor he will just be outsmarted by Cable like he did with X-Man. Thor isn't the smartest of the Norse Gods so it will be a breeze for Cable with his tactical skills.

That's complete bullshit.

Silver Surfer's tactic was charging Cable, and he didn't have anything to counter it with. Cable simply tried to use force against him, and failed. You seriously underestimate Thor here, he's been around for a while you know. Thor is no idiot.

It doest make him better for this is Cable remember who beat down X-Man by using his skills to outsmart him. Thor isn't known for his tactician skills for he relies mostly on brute strength and pure power more then anything to overcome his enemies. Though Cable does use his intelligence to outwit his enemy if he cannot handle his enemies with his mutant powers. For Cable could do the same by using his smarts and with his powers he is more then enough of a match against Thor. Also it doesn't matter he still shattered the Silver Surfers surfboard with his powers even though he lost the fight. Cable should never be underestimated when he is one tough S.O.B even with his Godlike power.

Thor cubrstomps Cable.

End of story.
