I know this would seem like a stupid thread, but the two forms seem alike. The only difference seems to be that Shii-Cho utilizes simple blocks and parries, but Djem So uses Soresu aggressively and pushes the enemy's blade back.

With this in mind, is Djem So just an advanced form of Shii-Cho. Is every other lightsaber form just an advanced form of Shii-Cho? Makashi seems to have burrowed Shii-Cho's footwork, Soresu refined the defense, Ataru made the form more mobile, Djem So made it more aggressive, Niman doesn't really take anything (aside from the basic attacks and parries), Juyo uses strange and unorthadox movement, Vaapad focuses the emotional heat (rather than Shii-Cho's wild nature), Sokan mixes mobility with Shii-Cho's body zone attacking, and Shien is a simple side-sweep rather than a vertical attack.

Thoughts?
