With the Power Gem, Champion destroyed many a powerful top tier cosmic hero. Can he defeat Darkseid?

With the way Kirby wrote him? No.

Does the OE work in Marvel? if not, good match with current DS. If the OE is working, DS nukes the elder. Co-sign Beta. PC DS was over Skyfather.

Even with the Power Gem, Champion has no real chance against PC Darkseid.

Even current Darkseid could simply use the OE to transport Champ away from the battlefield into a blackhole, or simply mindrape him ftw.

Either way, DS takes this IMO.
