Surfer is alot faster than Superman. That's all you need cause most people would agree.

What a cool and original idea for a thread. I would say Superman Prime beats Surfer.

Prime and one Million sure, but regular Supes dies hard.

pa dies? in fighting speed i'd give it to superman, surfer seems to considerably slow down when caught in h2h combat, characters many times slower than superman have caught SS with a punch, when he rarely decides to attack h2h. if silver surfer does this than superman could win, otherwise silver surfer would turn superman into a super toaster.
