Which book is better. i just got both from the library and don't know which to start first. Any opinions?

I haven't read either but Outbound Flight seems MUCH more interesting.

Go for that one, I say.

Read the Truce, Outbound flight is under whelming and the finale has been referenced for 10 years before print - so there's no fun there.

I have to agree with allankles that the plot for OBF has been spoiled by the previous books (SQ in particular), so in that case i would recommend Truce... On the other hand, it depends on if you've read all the other OBF/Thrawn related books. If not then start with OBF
