Major Snafu
In an attempt to understand Capoeira in its purest form, Soiree Meira travels to Rio de Janeiro on a training trip. Having friends in the City of God, Soiree stays with them, honing his skills.
One day, while on the beach, he sees a crowd nearby. As he approaches, he hears Sergio Mendez's 'Maghalena' playing from a CD player as replacement for traditional Capoeira music.
Soiree watches as Eddy Gordo and his pupil, Christie Monteiro perform for the gathered audience. After the exhibition is over, Soiree approaches Eddy, asking him to spar with him. Eddy declines, but Christie is up to it.
