I've been listening to a lot of songs from some old favorites, and thought this would be an interesting discussion. This isn't about your favorite sound track, or which game has the best music. I'm just curious what your favorite specific songs are. If you don't know the names of them, just say what part of the game they're from.

My favorites in no order:

Title theme from Ocarina of Time.

World of Balance overworld them from FFVI

Dancing Mad FFVI (song played during the final battle with Kefka)

Mystical Ninja: Starring Goemon OST... It's all class.

mines about the same as backfire's, just take out the Ocarina of Time, and add the intro to chrono cross, and FFVII opening theme song.

Theme inside the Temple of Time(song of time maybe) in Ocarina.

The original Shinobi's theme song is quite a fave.

Thats a very nice list, and Sonic CD and Nights both rule.

Street fighter has some of the best themes.
I love SF 3rd strikes' music a lot.

i like the one on gears of war, when you're on the train.

all the doom series and quake series songs were always good. (i'm metal fan sorry xD)

almost every song from populous : the beginning were very good.

and like satsujin said, those diablo2 songs too.

Super Mario Bros 3 music. That's probably my favourite.

I also like Half-Life music.

And of course, anything from Goldeneye.

Hell March from Command and Conquer Red Alert.
