Thread title is a mistake. Meant to say BRB versus Orion.

Fight takes place in outer space. Can the son of Darkseid take out Beta Ray Bill? Both have standard equipment (Orion has his motherbox, Beta Ray has his hammer). No BFR for this battle, fight is until someone loses consciousness.

Let's talk calmly without flames.

This is based upon current showings.

Erm, with teh motherbox Orion has proved himself to be >> Superman...which would also mean, in most circumstances, >> BRB.

Surfer beat Orion in a crossover once, but it was sans motherbox and it was a close fight.

Agreed, I think the motherbox gives Orion the win, although it would be a close match.

Digi, there was absolutely nothing close in the SS/Orion fight. Dont know if the book was canon or not, but the Surfer beat the hell out of Orion. Orion actually thought Death was coming to claim him.

Back to the fight at hand I think Orion takes 6 or 7 out of 10 against Bill

Orion didn't have his motherbox for that fight though, and Orion has had some better showings since then.

With Motherbox, Orion takes majority.

Without, Bill takes it. Any match between them would be very close though.

Orion is awesome.

In power, they're equals. They have different fighting styles. Thor is more reserved and likes to talk, whereas Bill lets his fists and Stormbreaker speak for him.

Bill seems to live by the principle of Actions speak louder than Words.

Yeah, I just reviewed that fight myself, and it wasn't close. SS beat him very convincingly.

With the Motherbox, Orion takes this definitely. Without it, this is a very close fight. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see either one come out on top.

I agree, but Thor uses the mjinor more effectively than bill. Bill uses storm breaker more like a war-hammer. He's usally is more physical than thor.
If id had to pick a favorite, id pick thor over Bill. Thor just has tons more experience with the mjinor, and uses it more effectively to his advantage.

Wow this spite thread from Kutulu didn't go anywhere, he didn't even know who he was getting to fight who and had no idea about Orions power level. He tries to squirm out of it later in the thread but it just ends up looking exactly like that squirming. I think people should lay off this nver and he should lay off as well.
