In ROTJ, when luke is about to swing from jaba's cruiser to the smaller one w/ leah in his arms, WHAT is that rope attached to? b/c after he does swing, the rope is like vertical to where he's standing?
also, in all the original three, does anybody think that among the storm troopers, there were ST commanders or somethin, cus in attack of the clones and ROTS, the clones in charge had like a yellowish or red uniform, but in the original three, they are all white. NOW i know for a fact that in the original three there were storm troopers in charge of others because in ROTJ, on endor, after one storm trooper tells leah to freeze, he tells another storm trooper to get back to base and he replies "YES SIR".

On the topic of the robe, it does the same thing as Spiderman's web. It magically hangs in the air.
On the Stormtroopers, there were actual officers in the Empire. Like Captain Needa and what not.

Aye - the tubing on Jabba's Sail Barge definitely defies the laws of physics, however you look at it.
And there are ranks among the OT Stormtroopers, just like in the PT, but after the fall of the Republic, but the lack of variation in armour design is indicative of the uniformity of the faceless machine the Empire has become. Facist white uniforms are de riggeur.
Perhaps the more flamboyant attire of the PT is representative of the more sophisitcated and civilised Republic era, while diversity and independent thought is oppresed by Palpatine's rule.
The closest we get in the OT is the different coloured shoulder pads on the Desert Troopers on Tatooine, which I believe denote rank among the forces...

Its a movie, don't worry about it. Your suppose to be taken in by the moment and not worry about stupid stuff.
The whole scene is an homage to Pirate swashbuckling movies that georg is obvously a fan of. I mean seriously Luke walked down a plank for christ sake.

OT = Original Trilogy, Eps IV, V, and VI
PT = Prequal Trilogy, Eps I, II, and III
