The way I see it is, X-man will burn himself out long before he can defeat Apocalypse. Shaman on the other hand, no idea. I honestly don't know if he can defeat Apocalypse at his full power.

An inexperienced Nate has fought Apocalypse (AoA), Stryfe (who owned 616 Apo), and Exodus (defeat via Psy overload).

Stryfe doesn't count. Apoc was severely weakened. Exodus feeds on psi energy, Nate beating him is PIS. and AoA Apoc sucks compared to classic.

An example. Apocalypse takes X-Factor, the Inhumans, (Black Bolt!) Askani/Rachael Summers, Xmen Blue team, and Charlotte Jones w/big tech gun- hitting him with everything they had to no effect, he waded through it.

I like apocalypse, but I'd give the fight to nate grey.

my reason? Both Stryfe (who is a clone of cable sans the virus) and Nate Grey (exact same thing) were designed to be powerful enough to contain all of apocalypse's TRUE power.

Stryfe by Apocalypse himself, Nate Grey by Sinister. (who should know Apoc's weaknesses pretty well) Nate in particular was developed specifically to be able to kill apocalypse.

Xfactor #68 ended with apocalypse being destroyed by a cyclops boosted by a weakened infant baby nathan.

Nate Grey/Stryfe is to Apocalypse as Drax was to Thanos. Designed to do one thing, and that thing is killing apocalypse.

Oh, so he's Apoc's silver bullet? oops. While I think X-Factor # 68 was somewhat PIS, I'm willing to stretch a point. Especially since Nate doesn't have a TO virus to impede his power. Ok, Shaman wins. But Apoc takes his body afterwards. I'm willing to give Shaman the win, but I'm not so sure he can hold off Apoc if Apoc tries to possess him.
