Can't believe nobody has done one yet. Well, after searching and doing other respect threads for characters ( Celestials, Loki.. etc) I came across more Odin appearances and decided to finally post part of my Odin Respek Thread.

Also, all off the scans in here I have contributed. If anyone wants to post a scan, bio, pic or feat...PM me first. Since I am not done attaining every Odin appearance I have not decided to place a chronological order on'' I. Feats, II. Battles'' etc, yet.

Odin vs Infinity, (Thor #185-188), The Infinity Arc:

Odin battles his dark side named Infinity(which, depending upon retcon interpretation was his dark side tapping into Infinity.) The battle devastated galaxies. Thor,who did some fighting of his own in the arc, used his power to shake Odin out of his trance. Odin then defeated his dark side named Infinity(if retconned, his dark side tapping into the abstract Infinity.) The real Odin then set everything right that had been wronged by the fighting and his dark side named Infinity's rampage.The first scan also has Thor flying at several times the speed of light.

Lt even noticing Odin's death is a feat. I mean really, how many characters deaths have been not only noticed on every plain of exsistence, but by LT himself?

This is a good thread. I'd contribute as well, but all the scans I have of Odin mention how he is omnipotent and omniscient. Seeing as we all know that myth was busted years ago, it'd be nothing but a waste of time

Question here. What's the "Eternal Flame"?

Personally I don't see why people at Marvel think that just because the polytheistic deities were worshipped on Earth, it should somehow limit them to being mere "local gods". IMO the skyfathers should be way up there and the other gods in a pantheon should be herald-level. Galactus should be bar-none the third most powerful being in the multiverse, only the LT and Eternity should surpass him, and Big G's only equals should be the skyfathers. And why should the gods be weaker than Celestials? Those are just a bunch of tin cans, lol.

Thor deserve it.

That is by far the fckn coolest depiction of Odin I've ever seen. Just the sheer awe and majesty...how a god should really be portrayed. People who are dumb enough to believe that the Allfather is just some second-string character who should lose to Superman don't even know what they're talking about.

That's from Matt Fraction's first arc on Thor. It starts in Thor #615 and ends in Thor #621.

It also does some other things like introduce the World Seed. It might also be the first time Odin himself predated the beginning of creation.
