This book tells a story of a squire from his lost childhood to him fighting for the Spartans during the Battle of Thermopylae. A little slow at first but after a while the story grows on you and by the time your finished, you will want to read it again. The main reason I read this book was because of the movie 300. I loved the movie but now I could point out alot of the flaws. But one has to go into the theater with an open mind and the knowledge that its based on a graphic comic.
