Which Guardian? won't matter much as Guardian wins regardless, Heather Hudson actually killed Sasquatch with a single blast.

Plus Guardian can kinda, y'know... fly. Which really screws Sasquatch over.

Sasquatch has caught fliers with his leap, but regardless Guardian's shields have blocked nuclear explosions. So meh!

Keep in mind that Snowbird was only half-God, whereas Tanaraq is one of the ancient and timeless Great Beasts...

I think it's a draw -- in a last ditch effort, Guardian repeats the trick from AF #12 that he used on the Jaxxon-Box, and both Guardian and Sas end up as vapor.

Yes and Snowbird can become Tanaraq or Sasquatch depending on if she is immortal or in her mortal form

She was in her mortal body when she died, which was the exact duplicate of Sasquatch as noted. Yes, I know all about the Great Beasts as I made the respect thread for them in my sig, however, Guardian didn't kill Tanaraq, she killed Sasquatch...big difference.

Ummm..how can he repeat what he did against Box when Jeffries defeated him by ripping out his circuits and causing him to blow up.

In AF #12 (original series), the Box robot is controlled remotely by Jerome Jaxon, who chases Guardian into an elevator shaft and proceeds to pummel him.

In desperation, Guardian rips out his own power-pack and activates the self-destruct sequence, which vaporizes both Box and himself.

This is what I was referring to in the above post...perhaps the single most pivotal moment in AF history...

Sasquatch might survive such a blast, but I somehow find it doubtful...

Yes I have that issue, it's James Hudson first "death". Roger Bochs was recruited in Omega Flight, but ended up not joining them so Jaxon took over and eventually died with his confrontation with Guardian.

Also not quite, he ripped out Box circuits not activated his (Guardian) self destruct. He was about to stop his cells from overloading, but Heather entered the room causing a temporally distraction forcing him to activate the suit's fail-safe program and traveled 5,000+ years into the past.

Yes I know, I posted the scans in the Guardian and Alpha Flight respect thread. Guardian will easily win, just not in that manner or does he even need to

Hmmm...unfortunately, I was more or less forced to give up my vintage AF books (including #12) years ago...I'll have to check out your scans and refresh my memory

I think Alpha Flight could be my new favorite team But I don't get enough allowance for many comics

The fight the changed Alpha Flight forever. This is the battle where Mac "dies", but really activates a blackhole and teleports himself into the past and eventually comes back as the badass cyborg that takes down Doom, Headlok and even Galactus. Anyways Jaxon assembles Beta Flight and makes them into Omega Flight to get revenge against Mac for deserting them when the government stoped funding Alpha Flight. He uses Delphine to persuade them to go to battle. He also captured Heather and that's why she pops in at the end, trying to escape.
