The band CYS is at a battle of the bands. Also present is the Killer Bambies, led by their livewire lead singer, Rebecca 'Candy Cane' Welsh.
After two hours, the bands are down to two. Shermie choses a slow ballad (Unchained Melody), while Candy sings 'Real Emotion' (the English version).
The judges declare the Killer Bambies the winner, which pisses Shermie off plenty, since she believes that she was upstaged by the newcomer.
Before the fight can began, Candy tells Shermie to meet her at the Rumble Roses tournament, where she will get her match. Through gritted teeth, Shermie accepts the challenge.
